The Role
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans tailored to the individual needs of a portfolio of business units within the group.
- Plan, manage, and oversee marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media platforms.
- Oversee the creation and validation of communication assets to ensure brand alignment, accuracy, quality, and impact.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform campaign strategies.
- Perform cost-benefit analyses of activities to make recommendations.
- Work closely with internal teams, and external agencies and service providers, to produce high-standard marketing materials and content.
- Manage marketing budgets, monitor costs and ROI, and report on campaign performance.
- Organise and represent the companies at events, activations, and product launches.
- Monitor customer feedback and adapt marketing actions accordingly.
- Support business development teams with promotional tools and lead-generation initiatives.
- Produce monthly, quarterly and yearly management reports.
- Manage a functional unit and lead the team in strategic thinking, planning, advisory, and project implementation to meet performance goals and expectations.
Required competencies:
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-company environment and to deliver within short deadlines.
Required qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, or a Chartered Institute of Marketing qualification, or a related field. A master’s degree in marketing or MBA will be an advantage.
- Minimum 12 years of proven experience in devising and producing campaigns & events, and in leading a team.
- Experience in the financial sector or in an advertising agency will be an advantage.
