As a pivotal senior individual contributor on Zendesk’s Marketing Strategy & Operations team, the Sr. Marketing Analytics Lead will turn complex marketing data into clear insights, recommendations, and decisions. This role will independently lead high-impact analytics workstreams across performance measurement, funnel analysis, attribution, forecasting, and experimentation while partnering closely with stakeholders across Marketing and the broader go-to-market organization.
What you’ll be doingLead end-to-end analytics projects, from framing the business question and sourcing the data through analysis, storytelling, recommendation, and follow-through.
Build and improve reporting, dashboards, and analytical models that make marketing performance, funnel health, pipeline contribution, and investment efficiency visible.
Analyze channel, campaign, audience, lifecycle, web, and funnel performance to identify opportunities and explain drivers of change.
Support attribution, forecasting, target setting, pipeline pacing, budget planning, and ROI analysis with sound methods and transparent assumptions.
Partner with Marketing Operations, Finance, Sales/Revenue Operations, Data/Engineering, and functional marketing teams to improve data quality and decision processes.
Develop reusable metrics, definitions, documentation, and analytical frameworks that increase consistency and self-service across Marketing.
Communicate findings in a way that is concise, actionable, and appropriate for the audience — from technical partners to executive leaders.
Mentor peers and contribute to a culture of analytical rigor, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
A strategic and commercially minded analyst who can connect data to business decisions and measurable outcomes.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently through ambiguity and incomplete information.

8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, performance analytics, strategy, or a related discipline.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with data warehouses, analytical datasets, and BI/dashboarding tools.
Experience with marketing measurement, funnel analysis, attribution, forecasting, experimentation, or channel ROI.
Ability to combine data from marketing automation, CRM, web, advertising, and revenue systems.
Demonstrated experience presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
Experience in B2B SaaS, subscription, or another multi-channel growth environment preferred.

The US annualized base salary range for this position is $202,000.00-$304,000.00. This position may also be eligible for bonus, benefits, or related incentives. While this range reflects the minimum and maximum value for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, the offer for the successful candidate for this position will be based on job related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location.
