What You Will Do
Marketing Strategy and Analysis
- Support integrated marketing strategies designed to increase awareness, engagement, registration, attendance, and revenue
- Conduct audience, market, competitor, and campaign research
- Analyze registration, email, website, social media and paid media performance
- Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
- Develop reports, presentations, campaign briefs, and actionable recommendations
- Support audience segmentation, testing plans, forecasting, benchmarking, and budget analysis
- Help establish campaign goals, key performance indications, and measurement plans
Campaign Execution and Content
- Support campaigns across email, web, social media, paid media, and sales channels
- Write and clear, engaging, on-brand copy for emails, websites, ads, social posts, presentations, and sales materials
- Translate campaign strategies and audience insights into effective messaging
- Adapt content for different audiences, platforms, and client voices
- Build and maintain campaign calendars, timelines, and performance trackers
- Coordinate with account, creative, digital, media, and event teams
- Monitor campaign performance and recommend optimizations
- Support audience segmentation, campaign setup, testing, proofreading, and quality assurance

- Familiarity with email, web, social media, paid media, CRM, and marketing automation platforms
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications
- Internship or experience in an agency or client services environment
- Experience with platform such as Google Analytics 4, Salesforce, Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau
- Interest in events, associations, or B2B marketing

Smithbucklin is a hybrid work environment with in-office days established as Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Employees will work a standard 40-hour week, with the possibility of additional hours based on project deadlines.
Smithbucklin considers several factors when determining compensation, including a candidate's recent coursework, training, experience, and certifications, among other considerations. The expected pay for this role is $78,000-$82,000.
