Senior Marketing Consultant (m/w/d)

Job Description Summary

The Senior Marketing Consultant will be responsible for developing effective offline and online event formats based on the strategic priorities of the German business as well as coordinating and leading the deployment of these.
This role will be focused on implementing and rolling out a strong internal and external events agenda to further drive market perception and increase visibility. This includes the agenda setting for industry events and partnerships, the planning and organizing of hosted client events as well as supporting the EMEA team on international industry fairs. Working alongside key business stakeholders as a trusted advisor, this role will be an integral part of the Business Development Services team across Germany and beyond.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the planning, organization, and execution of B2B events including client gatherings, industry conferences, trade fairs, and internal corporate functions (e.g. Christmas parties, kick-offs).
  • Create innovative event concepts that enhance brand positioning and drive customer engagement.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Executive Management) and liaise with the EMEA events team for international trade fairs in Germany.
  • Oversee external service providers such as catering, technical support, venues, and agencies to ensure high-quality event delivery.
  • Manage event budgets effectively, ensuring cost control and alignment with financial targets.
  • Monitor and evaluate event performance, providing insights and metrics to inform future MarCom strategy.

Knowledge & Experience: 

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing, ideally with a focus on events
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as SFMC, Engage, and social media platforms is a plus
  • Experience in professional services is preferred
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 10%–50%) as required
  • Fluency in German and English
