Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering impactful marketing communications that support our brand strategy and customer engagement goals. You’ll help shape how our customers and stakeholders connect with Watercare and the essential services we provide.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement multi-channel campaigns that build emotional connection and trust with our customers.
Create and deliver communications plans for customer-impacting projects (e.g. price changes).
Lead behaviour-change campaigns (e.g. encouraging water-wise habits).
Plan, write and publish a wide range of collateral including newsletters, brochures, flyers, letters, posters, advertisements, and digital content.
Manage and maintain customer-facing collateral and touchpoints.
Write and distribute customer newsletters and update website content.
Support investor relations communications in collaboration with the Finance team.
Champion the Watercare brand across all communications.
This is a fixed term opportunity for 12 months maternity cover.

You’re a confident and versatile communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’re known for your reliability, initiative, and ability to build strong relationships across teams.
You’ll bring:
A tertiary qualification in communications, marketing, or a related discipline.
7+ years’ experience in communications, including senior-level responsibilities.
Proven success delivering multi-channel campaigns and working with creative agencies.
Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo.
Strong writing skills with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse audiences and channels.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
High level of organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience developing and executing campaign plans, managing budgets, and tracking performance.
