About the role: 

We are seeking a highly skilled Mid-Senior Marketing Automation Developer to join our data-driven MarTech team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and optimizing complex, personalized customer journeys and marketing automations. This role demands deep technical expertise with Braze, hands-on experience with modern data activation and integration tools (Segment CDP, Hightouch, Google BigQuery), and a passion for leveraging data to drive engagement and business outcomes. 
 

You will work closely with product, data, and marketing stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-impact campaigns and lifecycle programs. As a senior team member, you will also mentor junior developers, champion best practices, and help shape our automation and data activation strategy.

Responsibilities 

Agentic AI & Intelligent Automation Leadership 
Champion the adoption of agentic AI within Marketing Automation, leveraging AI Agents, Intelligent Orchestration, and Personalized Paths to design goal driven, self-optimizing customer journeys that dynamically adapt based on real time customer behaviour, performance signals, and business KPIs. 
 

Campaign & Automation Development: 
Design, build, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns and customer journeys in Braze, leveraging advanced personalization, dynamic segmentation, and real-time triggers. 
 

Data Integration & Activation: 
Advance, optimise data flow and integrations between Braze with Segment CDP, Hightouch, Google BigQuery to enable seamless data activation and real-time campaign targeting. 
 

Pipeline Engineering: 
Develop and maintain Python scripts and Airflow DAGs for automating data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration of marketing workflows. 
 

Performance Monitoring & Optimization: 
Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance using Braze and supporting analytics tools. Drive continuous improvement through experimentation and A/B testing. 
 

Documentation & Compliance: 
Ensure accurate documentation of campaign workflows, data processes, and automation logic. Adhere to data privacy, ethical, and legal standards. 
 

Mentorship & Best Practices: 
Mentor and promote best practices in marketing automation, data integration, and campaign management. 
 

Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and communicate complex data insights effectively to relevant stakeholders from LCM, Marketing, Product and other business teams. 
 

Requirements 

  • 4+ years’ experience in marketing automation, with at least 2 years hands-on with Braze. 

  • Demonstrated experience or strong handson exposure to AIdriven marketing automation, includingagentic AI concepts such as autonomous decisioning, realtime journey optimization, and continuous experimentation. 

  • React Native engineering experience, including native module development, TypeScript-first component/API design, performance profiling, and automated testing on iOS and Android. 

  • Hands-on expertise integrating Braze and Segment in mobile apps: identity management, event/trait tracking, in-app messages, push notifications, deep links, and attribution signal flows. 

  • Proficiency with typed analytics and data contracts: JSON Schema, TypeScript types, and schema validation tooling in CI to prevent breaking changes and ensure backward compatibility 

  • Expertise in scripting/ templating languages used for personalisation (Liquid, AMPscript etc.) 

  • Experience in integrating marketing platforms with APIs and event streaming platforms. 

  • Basic Python skills, including experience with Airflow for data pipeline management. 

  • Solid understanding of version control principles and source code management using Git or similar tools, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
