• Leads technical implementation and optimization of Eloqua marketing automation infrastructure under the Senior Manager’s direction, ensuring reliable scoring, segmentation, integrations, and campaign support.
• Owns Eloqua database configuration, access, resource allocation, performance, capacity, and cost optimization; recommends technical changes based on audit and performance findings.
• Creates and maintains Eloqua documentation for database policies, procedures, and processes. 
• Owns and schedules routine maintenance, technical audits, and remediation for Eloqua and related backend technologies to maintain peak performance, reliability, and data quality.
• Acts as the technical liaison among Marketing, Sales, IT, and other lines of business under the Senior Manager’s direction. Converts business needs and approved strategy into technical requirements, architecture, and implementation plans.
• Optimizes lead scoring to ensure quality leads are delivered to sales, and minimize list fatigue and opt-outs 
• Creates and manages dashboards that show database health. 
• Defines, implements and maintains marketing automation best practices including list management, optimization, data quality and hygiene, and troubleshooting 
• Monitors database performance, availability, and capacity 
• Performs data analysis and segmentation for development of targeted campaigns using various databases including Eloqua, MS Dynamics, and Keystone . Identifies and proposes ways to reach targeted segments and support Channel Marketing initiatives 
• Provides technical expertise in vendor discussions and serves as a day-to-day technical contact when delegated by the Senior Manager; escalates roadmap, contract, performance, and relationship decisions to the Senior Manager.
• Leads the technical projects for major initiatives under the Senior Manager’s direction, coordinating requirements, architecture, implementation, testing, documentation, and technical delivery.
• Identifies, recommends, and implements improvements to backend marketing technology, data architecture, integrations, segmentation, and personalization that support measurable results and the Senior Manager’s strategy.
• Perform analysis that will deliver incremental value through support of marketing initiatives for all channels. 
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience 

• Typically requires minimum of 6 years related experience 
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 
• Master's degree preferred                                                                                              
• Has played a technical leadership role for several complete project cycles 

Licenses, Certifications, Registrations 

• Eloqua database certification or similar 
• Eloqua implementation certificate or similar 
• MS Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (CRM) or similar

• Thorough knowledge of related disciplines to anticipate impact across the organization
