We are expanding our Sydney team and looking for a driven Senior Marketing Associate to lead growth for our newly launched New Zealand market.


This high impact role will be pivotal in the success of ShopBack in NZ and will be suited for an entrepreneurial, fast-learning and ambitious individual. 

Your Adventure Ahead

  • You will report into the Head of Marketing working closely with a variety of stakeholders including Business Development, CRM, Creative, Social team
  • Campaign Planning: Manage the marketing calendar and all key events working with the Business Development team 
  • Campaign Execution: Brief and manage end to end all campaigns and content including in app, email, push notification and popups to the graphics and CRM team
  • Customer Acquisition: Always looking to develop new customer acquisition initiatives to encourage first time trial of ShopBack in NZ
  • Performance Marketing: Work with ShopBack internal agency to grow paid channels by continuously experimenting & iterating with channels and content 
  • Measuring: Establish clear measure of success for each campaign with constant result monitoring and tracking
  • Marketing Budget: Support Head of Marketing with updating and managing NZ marketing budget 
  • Social Media: Support ANZ Marketing Manager with content planning and execution as required
  • Influencer Marketing: Support ANZ Senior Influencer Associate in the execution of the programme
  • Community Management: Manage and grow communities on organic social channels including Whatsapp broadcast channel
  • Brand Management: Ensuring TOV, messaging and graphics are always consistent and in line with overall ShopBack brand guidelines 

Essentials to Succeed

  • An entrepreneurial, independent, motivated and result-oriented individual with strong performance record
  • A data driven marketer who is truly connected to their KPIs and the levers that drive performance 
  • Min. 3 years of marketing experience; prior experience in digital marketing / e-commerce industry preferred. Experience with NZ is a bonus but not required
  • Good time management, effective communication, adaptable and organised
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Not afraid of uncharted territory, can't-is-not-an-option attitude, not discouraged by failure or mistake
