About the role


We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Marketing and Communications Manager ANZ to lead marketing and communications efforts across Australia and New Zealand. In this role, you will be responsible for driving brand growth, customer engagement, and effective marketing and communications strategies for both B2C and B2B audiences. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing and Communications Strategy: Collaborate with teams to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy (both B2C and B2B) for Australia and New Zealand, across a range of touchpoints and platforms. 
  • Brand Management and Creative Asset Development: Work with agencies and designers to create top-tier marketing collateral, including written/visual content, advertising assets, ensuring alignment with JOLT’s brand guidelines.
  • PR Strategy: Collaborate with advisors to develop and execute a PR strategy targeting both B2B and B2C audiences, enhancing brand visibility and reputation. 
  • Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics and market research to inform strategic decision-making, ensuring effective market positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences.
  • Develop specific strategies relating to the following JOLT audience / stakeholder groups

Media/Advertising Clients (B2B)

  • Develop and execute growth strategies for JOLT’s Digital out-of-home and in-app advertising offerings, leveraging data/analytics to drive revenue and support the Digital Media Advertising Sales team.
  • Collaborate with technology and data platform partners to analyse consumer and advertising data to create best-in-class positioning, pitching, and communications strategies and tactics.

Councils and land owner partners (B2B)

  • Support JOLT’s Electrical Vehicle Site finding (‘Commercial’) team in engaging with government entities and partners to advance their sustainability goals and EV roll-out programs.
  • Create and manage council tender documents and other touchpoints to facilitate successful engagements and partnerships with councils

EV Charging Customers (B2C)

  • Develop and implement strategies to expand and retain JOLT’s EV-charging customer base.
  • Utilise a variety of communication channels, including digital platforms, automated database marketing, social media, and JOLT’s omni-channel media network, to execute brand, acquisition and retention marketing strategies.
  • Analyse consumer data to continuously optimise marketing strategies.

About you

  • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, Media or similar
  • 8+ years in marketing, commercial advertising strategy and/or digital media or related role You will have the desire and willingness to roll up your sleeves, deliver both strategic and tactical initiatives, solve problems and deliver in an agile, fast-paced environment with a hands-on culture to get the job done
  • Data-led approach: proven ability to leverage complex data trends to inform marketing strategies
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative global team, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to manage up and to key stakeholders
  • Experience with marketing channel execution using a variety of mediums and channels such as out-of-home, digital, mobile and direct customer communications 
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills - you will be collaborating with a variety of cross-functional teams internally, including senior leadership locally and globally, along with agencies/data providers/specialists externally
  • A passion for green energy, electrification of transport and the power of creativity
