Under general supervision, the Senior Market Researcher serves as a marketing research expert, delivering customer insights across multiple global markets through predominantly primary research. This role leads studies focused on customer satisfaction, segmentation, consumer foresight, brand health, value proposition and advertising testing, and other key business priorities to enhance organizational knowledge and support strategic marketing and business initiatives.

This role is based in our Niles, IL headquarters and will be hybrid.

Responsibilities
  • Design and execute qualitative and quantitative research projects to address business and marketing questions globally
  • Define research objectives, methodologies, and data collection approaches tailored to business needs
  • Analyze datasets and synthesize findings into clear insights
  • Deliver recommendations that influence business and marketing decisions
  • Coordinate with the market analytics team to create user friendly updates & reports
  • Partner with marketing and sales stakeholders to inform planning and execution via research studies
  • Apply research insights to support segmentation, targeting, positioning, messaging and go-to-market decisions
  • Coordinate Persona and Journey Mapping in collaboration with key stakeholders and the User Insights team
  • Use leading research platforms, AI technologies, modern insight techniques, and visualization technologies
  • Identify opportunities to improve research efficiency and impact
  • Stay current on best practices, tools, and innovations in market research and insights
  • Develop presentations, reports, and summaries that clearly communicate findings
  • Present insights and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align insights with business priorities
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external research partners
  • Oversee project execution, including timelines, deliverables, budgets, and resources
  • Coordinate with internal teams, external research vendors, and key stakeholders
  • Ensure research quality, methodological rigor, and data integrity
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Research, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing research and consumer insights
  • B2B Research, Consumer behavior, preferences, and motivations
  • Brand, Communication, Pricing, Performance Marketing and Satisfaction
  • Persona & Journey Mapping
  • Good proficiency with quantitative research and statistical analysis tools such as SPSS and R
  • Familiarity with qualitative research methods, including interviews, thematic & content analysis
  • Ability to synthesize complex information & communicate insights to executive & non-technical audiences
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Strong executive presence and influential communication style
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead through partnership and credibility

Base salaries vary based on qualifications, geography, experience, and expertise in each respective discipline. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for the opportunity. The base salary for this position ranges from $86,800 to $138,900, with a midpoint target. If your salary expectations do not align, still apply as we are often flexible on the seniority of posted positions. All positions also include an award-winning benefits package.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing Research, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Advanced degree
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in marketing research and consumer insights
  • Experience with B2B research and consumer behavior, preferences, and motivations
