We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Manager to lead a large-scale operation of approximately 1,000 employees, with full accountability for the plant's industrial performance. This executive will be responsible for balancing a highly automated, Industry 4.0 manufacturing environment with areas that still require further technological advancement, strong maintenance integration, and continuous operational efficiency improvements.
This is an on-site position based in Joinville/SC, designed for professionals who combine strong shop-floor leadership, fast decision-making in highly complex manufacturing environments, and the strategic vision required to continuously elevate operational maturity and leadership capability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Production, Quality, EHS, and Internal Logistics functions, ensuring the achievement of all critical plant performance indicators;
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, WCM, and continuous improvement initiatives, strengthening operational excellence and manufacturing discipline;
- Partner closely with Maintenance to accelerate the transition from corrective practices toward preventive and predictive maintenance models;
- Ensure operational stability in high-volume, high-throughput environments through rapid and structured problem-solving methodologies;
- Manage industrial budgets, productivity metrics, labor efficiency, absenteeism, overtime, and overall organizational performance;
- Develop leadership capabilities and foster a collaborative culture across all manufacturing functions.
Requisitos
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related disciplines, with an MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred;
- Proven experience leading large-scale industrial operations within complex, high-volume manufacturing environments;
- Strong background across machining, assembly, stamping, and welding operations;
- Demonstrated success implementing and advancing Lean Manufacturing, WCM, TPM, and predictive maintenance practices;
- Advanced English proficiency;
- Experience within automotive, machinery and equipment, heavy equipment, engines, compressors, or other highly engineered metalworking industries.
