Varex Imaging is the world’s leading supplier of Photon Counting Detectors, and we are hiring more resources due to expanding portfolio and growing volumes.
We are now looking for a (Senior) Manufacturing Engineer to support and develop our manufacturing operations. You will be an integral part of our team, with challenging and varied tasks. Your responsibilities include identifying development ideas and initiatives based on practical experience and observations, PFMEA analysis, and feedback from production and other stakeholders. You will initiate the changes and lead them through from the request to completion while coordinating the work of the necessary experts.
The position is permanent, located in Espoo, Finland, and employment can begin immediately or as soon as a suitable candidate is found. There is flexibility to tailor the role based on the selected candidate, so please thoroughly describe your relevant experience and expertise in your application.
Our team operates in both, Finnish and English and this role offers a hybrid work opportunity.

Job Description

What we're looking for:

•    Change Management (ECO) ownership in production process changes. 
•    Tasks related to change management e.g. risk analysis, instruction updates. 
•    PFMEA ownership in production. 
•    Leading production development activities. 
•    Close co-operation with both R&D and production. 
•    Participate in product data management and development. 
•    Other manufacturing engineering related tasks. 

Experience that will enable your success 

•    Production support and development experience. 
•    BSc or MSc education in engineering disciplines or relevant experience. 
•    Experience about working under ISO9001 or ISO13485 quality management system. 
•    Proven track-record in coordinating engineering changes successfully in technical environment. 

•    Production Process Risk management experience, preferably PFMEA 

•    Hands-on attitude, ability to work independently.

Additional useful skills 

•    Process verification and validation experience 
•    ERP Experience, especially SAP
