Manufacturing Engineer
The Manufacturing Engineer is an integral part of the engineering team. This individual would be responsible for the manufacturing process and procedures, handing equipment requirements and specifications, including the evaluation and review of the liquid coating process.
This individual must be comfortable working at any phase of the project, from start up to established processes.
This is an opportunity to lead cross-functional projects including coordinating design requirements, evaluating appropriate processing methods, and ensuring capability with manufacturing equipment.
Location: New Britain, CT
Salary: $85,000 - $95,000

Your Challenge
- Improving efficiencies in the current manufacturing process techniques; investigating and analyzing the process, creating a final process as per customer specifications.
- Coordinating engineering projects in relation to the manufacturing process (including machine setup).
- Defines, interprets, and develops quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements.
- Reviews and evaluates complex in-process rejections and trends implementing corrective action as needed.
- Interfaces with customers, vendors, and all company departments to resolve technical and quality problems.
- Performs technical surveillance of a semi-routine nature of processes and procedures; providing support to team members as needed.
- Understanding and working with thermal spray processes.
What You Bring
- 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Material Sciences, Mechanical Engineering
- Understanding of project management with strong analytical skills, interpersonal skills, and understanding of MS Office (Project, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Understands the importance of product quality and compliance to health and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently
