Where is the work:

On-Site (5 days)

What you will do:

  • Lead factory transformation and equipment implementation initiatives to improve productivity, quality, equipment performance, energy efficiency, and downtime reduction.
  • Provide technical and subject matter expertise to identify, analyze, and resolve manufacturing process and product design challenges.
  • Conduct root cause investigations, statistical analyses, and corrective action planning to support sustainable process improvements.
  • Design and optimize manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls to improve efficiency, reduce operating costs, and enhance product quality.
  • Establish and maintain manufacturing standards, including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times.
  • Develop work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source and compliance with product and manufacturing specifications.
  • Partner with on-site EHS to ensure equipment, processes, and work environments meet safety requirements and OSHA regulations.
  • Apply DFM/DFT principles through early collaboration with design teams to review schematics, layouts, and Gerber files and improve manufacturability and testability.
  • Develop, validate, and document manufacturing processes for SMT, selective soldering, wave soldering, AOI/X-ray inspection, conformal coating, and final assembly.
  • Implement and enhance process controls to improve operational stability, consistency, and overall manufacturing performance.
  • Identify, propose, and lead projects that support site SQDC goals across safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity.
  • Drive operational excellence by consistently meeting customer requirements and leading continuous improvement efforts across the manufacturing operation.
  • Collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional team environment while demonstrating sound judgment, problem-solving ability, and strong decision-making skills.
  • Maintain a professional, cooperative approach with internal and external customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Process Automation and AutoCAD or similar design software experience
  • Aptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes.
  • Communication skills to articulate voice of the customer.
  • Ability to coach, advise and develop teammates and peers.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards and quality systems
  • Experience with MS Office software packages (Word, Excel, etc…).
  • Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills
  • Familiarity with DFM/DFT principles and Bill of Materials (BOM) management
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing techniques preferred.
  • Hands-on experience in electronics or PCBA manufacturing including understanding of SMT line operations, soldering (reflow, wave, selective), and inspection tools (AOI, X-ray, SPI); Circuit board level troubleshooting knowledge a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
  • Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply;  we prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.

Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range:

$81,800.00 - $146,720.00
