About the Role
Mastercard is looking for an experienced sales professional to drive growth across our Security Solutions business in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
In this role, you will work with financial institutions, fintechs, merchants, and digital commerce organizations to help address challenges related to fraud prevention, identity, authentication, and trust in the payments ecosystem. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, building pipeline, and leading opportunities through to successful close.
This is a highly visible role for a commercially minded individual who thrives in a customer-facing environment and enjoys creating growth through consultative sales, business development, and strategic partnership.
Role• Drive growth of Mastercard's Security Solutions business across the United Kingdom and Ireland.• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities across existing and prospective customers.• Lead the full sales cycle, from opportunity qualification through commercial negotiations and contract execution.• Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders and decision-makers.• Apply a consultative sales approach to understand customer priorities and align Mastercard solutions to their business objectives.• Partner across Mastercard's Services, Product, Account Management, and Customer Success teams to bring integrated solutions to market.• Deliver against revenue and growth objectives while maintaining a strong focus on customer outcomes and long-term value creation.• Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitive developments, and evolving fraud and identity challenges facing customers.
All About You• Proven success in enterprise sales, business development, specialist sales, or strategic account growth.• Demonstrated ability to develop pipeline and win complex, consultative sales opportunities.• Experience with payment fraud solutions is required.• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.• Experience engaging with senior business leaders and decision-makers within large organizations.• Ability to translate customer challenges into solution-led commercial opportunities.• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable operating with a high degree of ownership and accountability.• Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills.• Ability to navigate a fast-paced and evolving business environment.

Skills Required

  • Proven track record selling Security Solutions in payments or related industry
  • Consultative sales approach and experience managing end-to-end sales cycles including SOW execution
  • Strong relationship management skills to expand buying centers and drive revenue growth
  • Experience engaging Financial Institutions, Acquirers, FinTechs, and digital merchants
  • Ability to define and execute sales strategy with measurable goals and initiatives
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and deliver consistent personal performance
  • Experience leading, hiring, and developing a sales team across levels of seniority
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical, detail-oriented, multitasking skills, and ability to make timely decisions
  • Customer-first mindset and ability to craft innovative customer strategies
