Job Description

THIS ROLE

Reporting directly to the Director, you’ll contribute to driving operational excellence by improving processes while managing a complex and diverse client portfolio that requires strong technical expertise. You’ll also play a key role in supporting and developing junior team members, ensuring high-quality service delivery and effective team performance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO  

  • You’ll manage a complex client portfolio and lead a Client Administration Team, ensuring efficient allocation of work, strong coverage, and delivery of high-quality service.
  • You’ll drive operational excellence by improving processes, overseeing KPIs, managing P&L performance, and ensuring commercial targets such as revenue, utilisation, and cash collection are achieved.
  • You’ll build strong client and stakeholder relationships, identifying business development and cross-selling opportunities while maintaining excellent service and communication standards.
  • You’ll provide technical expertise and leadership, supporting complex transactions, mentoring junior staff, developing talent, and fostering a high-performing, client-focused team culture.
  • You’ll ensure robust risk management and compliance by embedding policies, monitoring regulatory adherence, addressing risks, and maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge through continuous professional development.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU 

  • You will hold an ICSA, STEP Diploma, or equivalent professional qualification, with at least 7 years of relevant industry experience in fiduciary or trust company services.
  • You will demonstrate a thorough understanding of Trust Company Business laws, fiduciary duties, and industry best practices in trust and company administration, including knowledge of relevant jurisdictions and taxation impacts.
  • You will apply strong analytical, numeracy, and IT skills, with the ability to interpret legal documents and ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
  • You will communicate effectively and build strong relationships, collaborating with colleagues while contributing to team workflow management in a commercial and client-focused manner.
  • You will show resilience, integrity, and self-awareness, working under pressure to meet deadlines, supporting colleagues through change, and promoting continuous development, risk awareness, and inclusive practices.
