In this role, you will lead complex data science projects, develop advanced machine learning models, and provide actionable insights that directly impact business decisions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business stakeholders to drive data-driven strategies and innovation.Key Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end data science projects from problem definition to solution delivery.Design and implement machine learning and statistical models to solve business problems.Analyze large, complex datasets to extract actionable insights and support decision-making.Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy models into production environments.Translate business requirements into data science problems and effectively communicate results to non-technical stakeholders.Mentor and guide junior data scientists, reviewing code and sharing best practices.Continuously evaluate and improve model performance, accuracy, and scalability.Stay updated with the latest research and industry trends in data science and AI.Required Skills and Qualifications:5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or applied statistics.Advanced proficiency in Python or R, along with data libraries like Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale data (structured & unstructured).Experience deploying ML models in production (e.g., using AWS/GCP, Docker, MLflow, etc.).Solid understanding of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, A/B testing, and time-series analysis.Strong communication and data storytelling skills.Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders About the TeamEXL is the indispensable partner for leading businesses in data-led industries such as insurance, banking and financial services, healthcare, retail and logistics.
