As the Senior Manager, Workplace Operations at Micron, you'll have the outstanding opportunity to develop our world-class workplace environments. You will lead our passionate team to innovate outstanding workplace services and ensure flawless execution across all our facilities.
This role is responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of Micron’s global workplace services, including Space Planning & Occupancy, Construction Project Execution, and Integrated Facility Management (IFM). The Senior Manager will lead cross-functional teams and vendor partners to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery across all non-manufacturing sites. The role emphasizes execution, coordination, and performance management across all workplace functions.
Responsibilities:
Lead global space planning for non-manufacturing sites, aligning with headcount forecasts and business needs.
Manage occupancy logistics including restacks, seat assignments, and space moves in coordination with regional teams.
Maintain spatial data systems (e.g., Serraview, CA) to ensure accuracy and enable real-time reporting and analytics.
Support hybrid work strategies by implementing flexible occupancy models that optimize space usage.
Oversee construction and renovation projects from scope and budgeting through execution and closeout, ensuring alignment with standards and sustainability goals.
Direct daily IFM operations and supervise vendors to ensure consistent service delivery, cost control, and compliance.
Serve as the central contact for workplace services, resolving issues and coordinating cross-functional solutions.
Enable operational transparency through documentation, reporting, and training of regional teams and vendor partners.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field equivalent industry experience.
8+ years of experience in facilities operations, construction management, or space planning with a strong background in vendor management and service delivery.
Proficiency in IWMS platforms and occupancy planning tools.
Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
