Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Manager, Web Development to lead global teams responsible for our experience systems, including the corporate website, web applications, and learning management systems (LMS). This role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of SDLC and QA concepts, and proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strategic vision to deliver exceptional digital experiences and manage a diverse team of backend and frontend web development professionals.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management

    • Lead and mentor a global team of backend and frontend developers, ensuring high-quality delivery and professional growth.

    • Foster collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning within the team.

  • Web Development Strategy

    • Own the roadmap for corporate websites, web applications, and LMS platforms.

    • Ensure alignment with business goals and user experience standards.

  • Technical Oversight

    • Oversee backend development for performance optimization, code reviews, and support for new projects, PoCs, and ideation.

    • Guide frontend development for responsive design, accessibility, and marketing-driven design choices.

    • Drive planning and execution for Sitecore XM Cloud migration and other CMS modernization initiatives.

  • Agile & DevOps

    • Champion Agile/Scrum methodologies for iterative development and continuous delivery.

    • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.

  • Quality Assurance

    • Ensure robust QA processes for both manual and automated testing.

    • Partner with QA teams to maintain high standards of reliability and usability.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Work closely with marketing, product, and IT teams to deliver seamless digital experiences.

    • Manage vendor relationships for SaaS and third-party integrations.

  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement

    • Stay current with emerging web technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

    • Drive initiatives for performance, accessibility, and scalability improvements.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in web development, with at least 4+ years in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience managing global teams and complex web ecosystems.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, QA principles, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Hands-on knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud hosting environments.

  • Experience with CMS platforms such as Sitecore, including architecture, customization, and migration planning.

  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks and backend technologies.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Sitecore XM Cloud migration or similar CMS modernization projects.

  • Knowledge of SEO, accessibility standards, and performance optimization.

  • Exposure to SaaS platforms and integration strategies.
