The Value Stream Senior Manager plays a critical role in supporting Value Stream Management (VSM) by driving execution, coordination, and performance management across one or more product value streams. This role partners closely with Supply Chain, R&D, Commercial, Quality, and Finance teams to support the development, execution, and monitoring of Product Strategy Roadmaps (PSRs). This Value Stream role will have direct responsibility for the Cartridge, Inserters & OVD Portfolio wiht support to the overall IOL & Implant Platform
This role operates in a global, cross‑functional environment and focuses on translating strategy into execution, enabling disciplined governance, and improving end‑to‑end (E2E) performance across service, cost, cash, quality, and risk dimensions.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the development, refresh, and execution of Product Strategy Roadmaps (PSRs) for assigned products or value streams, in alignment with VSM standards and governance.
Coordinate cross‑functional inputs (Supply Chain, R&D, Commercial, Quality, Finance) to support E2E product strategies, initiative prioritization, and execution planning.
Drive execution of value stream initiatives and projects, tracking progress, risks, dependencies, and outcomes against defined objectives and success measures.
Support E2E performance management, including preparation of dashboards, KPI reviews, and insights related to reliability, cost, service, cash flow, and risk.
Identify execution risks, constraints, and trade‑offs, and escalate insights and recommendations to the Value Stream Director as needed.
Support NPI and lifecycle activities, including launch readiness reviews, execution tracking, and transfer‑of‑ownership coordination.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across supply chain processes, manufacturability, and operational performance.
Support capital and investment execution activities, including initiative tracking, benefits realization, and alignment to approved business cases.
Partner with sites and functions to support adherence to quality, compliance, and HSE requirements, ensuring issues are identified, tracked, and escalated appropriately.
Contribute to the development and maturation of the VSM capability, including use of standard tools, templates, governance forums, and ways of working.
Qualifications
Required Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field preferred
Advanced degree is a plus
Required Years of Related Experience:
Typically 6–10 years of relevant experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience in one or more of the following: manufacturing, supply chain, planning, project management, operations, or engineering
Demonstrated ability to lead execution and deliver results in a complex, matrixed environment
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with ability to synthesize insights from multiple data sources
Working knowledge of end‑to‑end supply chain processes, from demand planning through delivery
Experience supporting cross‑functional initiatives and governance forums
Understanding of NPI processes and product lifecycle management preferred
Ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders and prepare materials for leadership reviews
Detail‑oriented, structured, and comfortable operating within defined frameworks while exercising sound judgment
Exposure to global operations or multi‑region collaboration preferred
Willingness to travel up to 10-15%, as required
