The Role

This is what you will do:

The Senior Manager, US Marketing, META+, HPP and LAL-D will work with the Director, US HCP Marketing, HPP and LAL-D, to develop and execute disease state and branded initiatives in alignment with the near-term and longer-term strategic operating plan. The incumbent will partner closely with cross-functional team members in multiple areas of responsibility and will work with external vendors/agencies to ensure successful pull-through of tactical plans on time and within budget parameters. The ideal candidate for this role will have strong project management capabilities, be able to communicate effectively and with urgency as needed, gain alignment and drive project advancement across large groups of stakeholders and have a passion for finding strategic and innovative approaches to medical education and awareness in the rare disease space.

You will be responsible for:

  • Participate in developing the short and long terms strategic plan and tactical plans for the HPP HCP key customer segments
  • Work as a key member of the HCP Marketing team to help develop and roll-out promotional materials to support execution of brand and disease messages to HCP audiences
  • Help develop innovative strategic initiatives to support treatment initiation and sustained treatment success with STRENSIQ
  • Budget management and tracking of strategic and tactical marketing plans
  • Track and monitor key performance indicators for marketing tactics
  • Work closely with the Thought Leader Liaisons to support development and refinement of the Speaker Bureau educational decks, national conference needs, and advisory board content
  • Work closely with OMNI and IT teams to support development of key digital communication initiatives (personal and non-personal)
  • Cultivate strong relationships with cross functional teams, including patient marketing, OMNI, medical, PRC, payer marketing, patient services, training, operations, market research, TLLs, and the field sales organizations
  • Collaborate with field sales team to identify best practices and uncover needs/ trends and build relationships to improve consistency of brand strategy execution
  • Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and compliance stakeholders to ensure compliant development and execution of all initiatives

You will need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken language)
  • A minimum of 4+ years professional experience with at least 1 year in life science industry experience in either marketing, operations sales, and/or agency (client/account management) functions
  • An established working knowledge of marketing principles, including key principles of brand management, professional promotion, and the sales process
  • Experience developing HCP marketing tactics, with a focus on successful implementation of tactics through a combination of individual and team efforts
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects across functional areas, and work independently when appropriate, in teams and as a sub-team lead
  • Experience in managing external agencies and/or vendors on a day-to-day basis and strong budget management capabilities
  • The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment. As is typical of an office-based role, employees must be able, with or without an accommodation to: use a computer; engage in communications via phone, video, and electronic messaging; engage in problem solving and non-linear thought, analysis, and dialogue; collaborate with others; maintain general availability during standard business hours.
  • Must be able and willing to travel ~25% of the time as business requires

We would prefer for you to have:

  • 4+ years of life science experience in either marketing, operations sales, and/or agency (client/account management) function
  • Experience in marketing of specialty and/or orphan drugs preferred
  • Pharmaceutical sales experience in the rare disease space
