Job Description:
Senior Manager, Turnaround Office role is a hands-on execution-enablement role supporting delivery of Mars Pet Nutrition North America’s turnaround This role works closely with the Turnaround Lead, TO Program Managers, workstream and initiative owners, and functional teams to facilitate and orchestrate the overall program and associated activities, tracking process, and results across initiatives.
This role helps translate transformation priorities into practical execution by conducting analyses, developing workplans, tracking & reporting delivery, coordinating follow-through on key actions, and providing day-to-day initiative support. Associates in this role will serve as a core delivery resource across the transformation agenda, bringing structure, analytical rigor, and responsiveness to high-priority initiatives.
What are we looking for?
Bachelor’s Degree
Experience managing high visibility or strategically important projects from planning to execution (transformation program experience is a plus)
Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities, with ability to synthesize data and translate findings into practical recommendations
Experience developing presentations, status updates, and leadership materials that communicate complex topics clearly and succinctly
Experience tracking project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, and actions in support of delivery and governance
Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders and supporting progress across multiple workstreams or initiatives
Ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership for quality and timeliness of work product
Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with multiple priorities moving in parallel
What will be your key responsibilities?
Provide hands-on execution support across priority transformation initiatives. This involves:
Supporting the button-up initiative planning and design with business team, including scope and charter, business case, milestone and delivery plan, and execution roadmap
Support initiative stand-up and ongoing workstream execution by helping structure working sessions, documenting outputs, and translating decisions into clear actions and owners
Developing trackers, action logs, and supporting materials to enable disciplined follow-through
Working with initiative owners and TO Program Managers to maintain progress against plan
Manage day-to-day centralized initiative tracking across milestones, risks, dependencies, actions, and decisions, ensuring visibility to issues and timely follow-up
Support governance and team cadences by preparing updates, coordinating meeting inputs, capturing decisions, and helping ensure actions are completed
Develop core materials used by the Turnaround Lead and initiative teams to report out progress across the program, including presentations, status updates, governance materials, and working documents
Coordinate with functional stakeholders to gather inputs, align on next steps, and provide targeted resource support to resolve issues impacting progress
Drive accountability by identifying emerging risks and execution gaps and engaging the right stakeholders to enable timely resolution
Conduct analyses to support initiative delivery and decision-making, including data synthesis, issue diagnosis, opportunity sizing, and development of practical recommendations
Contribute to business case, funding, and value-tracking analyses where relevant, in partnership with Finance, TO Program Managers, and initiative teams
Facilitate tracking of actuals against plan, update value delivery, and provide triage support to diagnose root cause issues behind benefit variance (including helping to identify solutions as needed)
Bring structured problem solving and continuous improvement mindset to the transformation team, helping improve ways of working, communication, and execution discipline across initiatives
