The Senior Manager, Transformation and Growth Finance is a strategic finance leader responsible for supporting the company’s inorganic
and organic growth and transformation agenda. This role leads financial workstreams and support teams across M&A, Divestments,
Integration & Separation, and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, deal experience, and cross functional
collaboration skills to drive value creation and support executive decision-making. This position partners closely with senior
leadership to evaluate opportunities, manage complex transactions, and ensure successful execution of growth and transformation strategies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- M&A and Divestment Finance Leadership: Lead financial evaluation and modeling for potential acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, and other opportunities. Support due diligence, valuation, and deal structuring activities. Testing the various business cases for robustness.
- Integration & Separation Finance: Drive financial planning and execution for post-merger integration and business separations, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and value realization targets including post deal analysis.
- Strategic Finance Partnering: Collaborate with Strategy team to assess growth opportunities and support long-term strategic planning with robust financial analysis.
- Scenario Modeling & Business Case Development: Build and review complex financial models to assess investment opportunities, synergies, and risks. Develop business cases to support executive decision-making.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with Legal, Tax, HR, Operations, and other functions to ensure financial considerations are embedded in all phases of transformation initiatives.
- Governance & Reporting: Ensure financial governance, risk management, and compliance across all transformation and growth initiatives. Prepare and present materials for senior leadership and board-level discussions.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Provide financial insights on market trends, competitor activity, and industry benchmarks to inform strategic decisions.
- Evaluate risks or opportunities through financial analysis, providing recommendations to mitigate these risks, and flagging them in the thorough sensitivity analysis.
- Ensure compliance with the Management Authorization Limits and Capital Appropriation Request guidance and supporting the various teams in the corresponding alignment, presentations and approval processes.
- Required BPA activities around the finances of the Transformation and Growth function.
- Ad-hoc requests and support.
What you need to bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of progressive experience in finance, investment banking, strategy consulting, or a similar role with exposure to M&A, BD&L, and transformation projects.
- Proven track record of leading financial workstreams in complex transactions and strategic initiatives.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior executives.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Experience in life sciences, healthcare, or a similarly dynamic and regulated industry is a plus.
- Fluent English C1-C2 is mandatory. Other languages can be valuable.
