Caliber is looking for a Senior Manager, Training & Development, to support our Caliber Auto Glass business portfolio. This function is part of Caliber’s Growth businesses that continue to see year-over-year growth, expansion, investment, and increasing impact to the organization’s bottom line. The role will report to the Sr. Director, Learning & Development (Growth Businesses).
In this role, the Sr. Manager will lead the people, learning strategy, and core development programs for this function. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development, Technical Training, or Workforce Development professional who enjoys developing people, building scalable programs, and connecting learning to business results. You’ll lead a team of training professionals and oversee programs spanning technical training, onboarding, front-line leadership development, apprenticeships, field training, and career development, while partnering with operational leaders to ensure our teams have the skills they need to succeed.

We’re looking for a leader who knows how to develop people, build effective training programs, solve problems, and turn strategy into action.
What You'll Do
- Lead & Develop: Coach, develop, and inspire a team of training professionals.
- Build Training Programs: Lead technical, operational, onboarding, front-line leadership, apprenticeship, and career-development programs.
- Partner With Operations: Work with field and business leaders to identify performance gaps and create practical learning solutions.
- Shape Strategy: Translate business priorities into scalable learning strategies and measurable action plans.
- Develop Talent: Create programs and career pathways that build skills and support long-term growth.
- Drive Results: Use data and learner feedback to measure effectiveness and continuously improve programs.
- Embrace Technology: Evolve digital, virtual, and hands-on learning solutions to meet changing business needs.
- Make an Impact: Support training initiatives across a geographically dispersed organization.
What You'll Bring
- 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, technical training workforce development, or a related field.
- 3+ years of people leadership, program leadership, or team management experience.
- Experience leading training programs across multiple locations, teams, or field environments.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning and training methodologies.
- Experience coaching and developing trainers, facilitators, or learning professionals.
- Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder mgmt. skills.
- Ability to connect training initiatives to measurable business outcomes.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Experience with LMS platforms, digital learning, or virtual training is a plus.
Nice to Have
- Automotive, fleet, manufacturing, technical service, or skilled-trades experience.
- Auto glass or ADAS experience.
- Apprenticeship, military transition, or workforce development experience.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company MVR requirements.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to travel approximately 30–40% to support field training, team development, and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work in office, training, shop, and field environments as needed.
