Role overview
The Senior Manager, Tax Compliance, is responsible for managing the company's tax compliance process, ensuring timely and accurate filing of all federal, state, and international tax returns. This role leads the preparation and review of income tax filings, collaborates with external advisors, and works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. The ideal candidate has deep technical tax knowledge, attention to detail, and a process-driven mindset.
What you'll do
Federal, State & Local Tax Compliance:
- Oversee preparation, review, and timely filing of federal, state, and local income and franchise tax return
- Coordinate with internal and external advisors to manage foreign tax compliance, including Form 5471, 8858, 1118, and BEPS requirements
- Prepare return to provision calculations including detailed explanations for variances
- Ensure the accurate calculation and timely payment of estimated tax payments
International Tax Compliance (if applicable):
- Ensure compliance with global reporting standards, including country-by-country (CbC)
- Manage all aspects of transfer pricing documentation including studies and benchmarking analysis
- Maintain intercompany agreements and updates as necessary
- Oversee the preparation of all international tax returns
Tax Process & Technology:
- Improve and maintain internal controls, documentation, and procedures around the tax compliance process.
- Evaluate and implement technology solutions to enhance tax compliance efficiency
- Lead automation and data transformation initiatives for tax reporting
Audit Support & Risk Management:
- Manage responses to federal and state tax notices and audits
- Support tax controversy efforts and provide documentation as needed
- Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that impact tax compliance
Collaboration:

- Collaborate with finance, accounting, legal, and business units to ensure accurate and complete tax filings
- Ability to effectively manage global network of third party advisors
What you'll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MST
- 7+ years of tax compliance experience, with a mix of public accounting and corporate tax department experience preferred
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. federal and state income tax laws and international tax knowledge
- Proficient in Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
