Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition
The Role: Rue Gilt Groupe is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition reporting directly into the Chief People Officer. You will be comfortable both driving strategic Talent Acquisition initiatives and actively supporting tactical recruiting efforts to ensure seamless hiring across the organization. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our talent strategy while supporting the hiring needs of our inclusive, supportive, and culturally rich team. As a people manager, you will inspire, coach, and mentor a small but high-performing team, driving success through collaboration and innovation. What You’ll Do:
- Empower the Team: You’ll serve as a player-coach supporting senior level requisitions while mentoring and empowering recruiters to develop diverse pipelines, drive efficiencies, and help us to refine how Rue Gilt Groupe navigates the evolving recruiting landscape and executes against sourcing, interviewing, and hiring KPIs.
- Lead the Partnership: Recruiting is a team sport, and you’ll serve as the coach and expert in the art and science of it all. You’ll work closely with your business partners and hiring managers, acting as a true partner they can trust and rely on. You’ll be the guardian of best practices for crafting engaging and inclusive job postings, developing thoughtfully planned recruiting and interview strategies, and more.
- Find the Talent: You will recruit for mid-to-senior level roles across key business functions, including Technology, Merchandising, Marketing, Finance & Accounting, and more. You’ll be creative about seeking out and engaging talent, possessing an unwavering determination and tenacity to follow the trail until we find the right candidates for the role. You'll be agile and strategic, building and strengthening relationships that consistently open new talent channels.
- Build the Brand: You’ll think like a marketer and sell like a recruiter. You'll operate in the mindset that recruiting is not just about connecting the right people with the right job but fostering connections to our brand and ensure that every candidate has a memorable experience engaging with Rue Gilt Groupe.
About You:
- You are obsessed with providing the best-in-class candidate experience.
- You’ve managed and mentored a small team but still not ready to hang up your sharp recruiter skills and are eager to own requisitions spanning from seasoned individual contributors to VPs and are comfortable driving and influencing the hiring process with the most senior leader.
- You’re a problem solver, a step ahead of the evolving candidate market leveraging imaginative and innovative sourcing and candidate management strategies with a focus on building and improving upon inclusive processes and tools that drive us to do what we do, but better.
- You have a recruiting philosophy that isn’t about filling seats, but building pipelines of strong, diverse candidates that you regularly engage. You’re disciplined, resourceful, and though you’re naturally competitive with yourself, you are an even stronger collaborator with others.
- You’ve recruited at an e-commerce, start-up, or technology organization, so you’re used to environments where change happens often enough that you’ve mastered operating in the “gray”.
