Senior Talent Acquisition Manager – Japan

As Senior Talent Acquisition Manager for Japan, you’ll lead strategies that attract exceptional talent and enable organizational growth. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact by building a high-performing recruitment function and driving innovation across the region. 

 

What You Will Do 

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for Japan, including attraction, assessment, and selection of talent. 

  • Design and implement sourcing strategies to build diverse talent pipelines that meet business objectives. 

  • Build and manage a high-performing, client-focused TA team aligned with global standards. 

  • Drive Japan’s TA roadmap as part of the APAC TA Leadership Team, collaborating with global partners. 

  • Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-accept, source of hire) to improve performance and address challenges proactively. 

  • Coach business leaders and hiring managers on best practices for recruitment and talent mobility. 

  • Oversee vendor management and ensure compliance with local regulations and audit requirements. 

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance search quality and increase diversity in candidate slates. 

 

What You Will Need 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. 

  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including recruiting. 

  • Minimum 4 years of experience leading a team. 

  • Business-level fluency in English and Japanese (written and verbal). 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in a global or U.S. multinational organization. 

  • Proven success in driving programs and leading change in complex environments. 

 

 

Additional Information 

  • Work arrangement: Based in Japan with hybrid flexibility. 

  • Travel: Approximately 10% regional and global travel. 

 

Travel Percentage: 10%
