Position Purpose:

The Senior Manager of DEX (Digital Employee Experience) Systems Engineering is responsible for leading a high-performing Agile team focused on optimizing and maintaining the organization’s Digital Employee Experience solutions, with a primary emphasis on Nexthink.  The Senior Manager is also accountable for managing incident escalations and resolving solution outages to minimize business disruption and maximize productivity.

  • Oversee the Administration of Nexthink and its various capabilities as a cloud service for User Experience monitoring, reporting, alerting and management
  • Provides support and guidance in troubleshooting critical risks related to hardware/software problems and drives continuous improvement of products and processes
  • Oversee occasional after-hours support response to critical issues and outages
  • Develops understanding of Centene technical domains and demonstrates thought leadership in DEX emerging areas
  • Develop and implement a DEX Strategy that drives continuous improvements of the end user compute experience
  • Develops and shares regular reporting on status updates to senior and executive leadership
  • Collaborates with external parties for IT procurement and vendor related IT issues
  • Works with internal stakeholders (product team, senior management, etc.) which contributes to technical strategy and recommends industry best practices
  • Manages the hiring and training of new and existing staff, conducts performance reviews, provides leadership, technical guidance, and coaching to systems engineers
  • Shares knowledge and develops staff to strengthen understanding of system engineering, business issues, and best practices
  • Maintains and shares SLA and metrics for services provided
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

Requires a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of related experience, including prior management experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Technical Skills:

  • Certifications in Agile (e.g., Scrum Master, Product Owner) or IT Service Management (e.g., ITIL).
  • Experience with additional End User Technology solutions (e.g., Microsoft Endpoint Manager, ServiceNow, Cloud Computing, Group Policy, InTune, etc).
  • Proven track record of driving DEX improvements and measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to guide decision-making.

Pay Range: $119,100.00 - $220,500.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
