As we enter commercial operations, we are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Supply Chain to lead and scale endtoend supply chain operations. This role is responsible for developing and executing supply chain strategies across procurement, supplier management, inventory, logistics, and operational readiness. The Manager will partner closely with Engineering, NPI, Manufacturing, Quality, and Finance to ensure continuity of supply, cost discipline, risk mitigation, and ontime delivery in support of company objectives. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies aligned with business growth, schedules, and commercial operations. 
  • Establish short‑ and long‑term supply plans that balance cost, quality, delivery, and risk. 
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high‑performing supply chain and procurement team, setting clear expectations and accountability. 
  • Oversee sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and contract negotiations for direct and indirect materials. 
  • Lead strategic supplier relationships, including performance management, cost reduction initiatives, and risk mitigation. 
  • Drive supplier development efforts to improve quality, delivery, and scalability. 
  • Ensure contracts, pricing, and terms support business objectives and compliance requirements. 
  • Own supply chain cost structure, including material cost targets, should‑cost models, and savings initiatives. 
  • Partner with Finance to support budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis. 
  • Identify and execute continuous cost‑reduction opportunities without compromising quality or delivery. 
  • Oversee inventory planning, demand forecasting, and inventory control strategies to support production and customer needs. 
  • Optimize inventory turns, working capital, and material availability. 
  • Ensure logistics, transportation, and warehousing strategies support on‑time delivery and operational efficiency. 
  • Establish scalable supply chain processes, policies, and KPIs appropriate for a growing organization. 
  • Ensure effective use of ERP and PLM systems (e.g., Epicor, 3DEXPERIENCE) to enable data‑driven decision‑making. 
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.). 
  • Serve as a key supply chain partner to Engineering, NPI, Manufacturing, Quality, and Program Management. 
  • Support new product introductions (NPI) by ensuring supply readiness, supplier capacity, and cost targets are met. 
  • Communicate supply chain risks, constraints, and mitigation plans clearly to leadership. 

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations, including leadership roles. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Demonstrated experience building and leading teams in a complex or scaling environment. 
  • Strong strategic, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. 
  • Deep understanding of supply chain principles, sourcing, inventory management, and supplier management. 
  • Proven ability to operate in fast‑paced, ambiguous, and evolving environments. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Epicor ERP. 
  • Familiarity with Dassault Systems  3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform. 
  • Experience working in regulated or quality‑driven environments (ISO 9001, AS9100, Six Sigma). 
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, or CPIM.

Applicants must be eligible for employment in the United States and willing to work onsite at our HQ office in Palo Alto, CA.
