Overview

The Sr Manager, Supply Chain Advisory is responsible for leading and delivering customer‑focused, cost‑effective, and innovative supply chain solutions. This role plays a critical part in driving customer satisfaction and long‑term success by providing high‑value strategic guidance, deep subject matter expertise, and tailored solutions that address complex customer business needs.

The Sr Manager serves as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders, leading solution design and validation activities while shaping adoption strategies and value realization. This role partners closely with sales, consulting, product, and delivery teams to position Blue Yonder as a market leader in supply chain transformation.

A strong plus for this role would be expertise in end-to-end Retail and Distribution Planning, including Merchandise Financial Planning, Assortment Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Replenishment Planning, and Distribution Planning. The ideal candidate will be able to leverage this expertise to translate complex business requirements into scalable supply chain solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.

What you’ll do

  • Develop, articulate, and deliver customer‑centric supply chain solutions aligned to business objectives and measurable operational and financial outcomes.
  • Provide deep subject matter expertise across key supply chain domains, including planning, execution, and emerging technologies.
  • Lead customer engagements such as discovery, design, blueprinting, and solution validation sessions, ensuring clarity, alignment, and customer confidence.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor in process transformation discussions, guiding customers through workflows, reference architectures, and design‑authority governance.
  • Deliver compelling Blue Yonder demonstrations using customer‑specific data, business narratives, and differentiation messaging.
  • Connect solution configuration and design decisions to operational performance, financial impact, and adoption strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, consulting, and product teams to drive customer adoption, retention, and value realization.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Blue Yonder products, services, industry trends, and competitive dynamics to effectively position Blue Yonder as a market leader.
  • Build and sustain strong, long‑term customer relationships by consistently delivering high‑impact guidance and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend opportunities for customer expansion, enhancement, and upsell.

Key Skills

  • Demonstrated experience leading blueprinting, design, and solution validation exercises with senior customer stakeholders.
  • Experience deploying and configuring SaaS supply chain solutions, including understanding of change management, integrations, and project lifecycle phases.
  • Ability to deliver differentiated Blue Yonder demonstrations using business value storytelling and customer‑relevant scenarios.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technical architecture, APIs, data flows, and integration strategies.
  • Ability to align technology and system design decisions to business KPIs and value drivers.
  • Experience supporting or governing design authority during implementations.
  • Experience with Blue Yonder products and solutions strongly preferred.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in a customer‑facing supply chain advisory, solution consulting, or consultative sales role.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and technologies, including forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, and transportation planning.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering customer‑centric solutions that drive measurable business impact.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence technical and executive audiences.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute effectively in fast‑paced, dynamic environments.
  • Strong customer focus and commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes.
  • Experience with Blue Yonder's products and solutions strongly preferred

The salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 USD, plus a variable component.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
