As Senior Manager, Supplier Compliance & Third Party Risk Management (TPRM), you'll play a pivotal role within BMS's Global Procurement organization - sitting at the heart of our third-party risk program and GxP inspection readiness efforts. Reporting directly to the TPRM Program Director, you'll help safeguard BMS's supplier ecosystem, shape risk culture, and ensure our procurement practices are always inspection-ready.
This is a high-visibility role where your work directly supports regulatory compliance, enterprise risk strategy, and global supplier integrity - all central to BMS's ability to deliver life-changing therapies to patients worldwide.
What You'll Do
You won't just manage risk - you'll help build the framework that defines it. Here's a snapshot of what your days will look like:
- Lead Inspection Readiness - Coordinate GxP Health Authority inspection preparation across Global Procurement, Quality, and business partner teams, ensuring documentation is always audit-ready
- Drive the TPRM Program - Manage and enhance the TPRM technology platform, improving adoption, consistency, and performance across the organization
- Deliver Meaningful Insights - Develop standardized reporting for continuous monitoring and prepare leadership-level updates for steering committees
- Champion Stakeholder Engagement - Partner with Global Procurement, business units, and risk communities to facilitate due diligence assessments and support vendor risk mitigation
- Build Risk Awareness - Design and deliver training and change management initiatives that embed a culture of risk awareness across the Global Procurement function
- Innovate Continuously - Bring fresh, strategic ideas to evolve TPRM practices, share best practices, and contribute to thought leadership in internal and external forums
What You'll Bring
Education
- B.S./B.A. required | M.S./M.B.A. preferred
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, compliance, R&D, Commercial, or Operations - or equivalent relevant roles
- 4+ years of proven success in a TPRM, procurement, or compliance organization
- Solid understanding of ICH/GCP regulatory guidelines as they apply to procurement and vendor management
- Hands-on experience with TPRM platforms such as ServiceNow, CertaAI, ProcessUnity, or similar tools
- Familiarity with Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Compliance Management processes
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and gain stakeholder buy-in
- Strong analytical mindset - able to cut through complexity and prioritize what matters most
- A proactive, creative, self-driven approach with a passion for continuous improvement
- Proven ability to manage global, cross-functional projects and deliver on time
