About the Role:
We're looking for a Senior Manager, Strategic Planning & Transformation to join our Business Growth & Development team within Partner Solutions, part of the Research group. Reporting to the VP, Business Growth & Development, you'll act as a strategic partner and chief of staff to our Partner Solutions leadership, driving strategic planning, organizational effectiveness, and cross-functional alignment. This is a hybrid/remote role based in the UK.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with the VP, Business Growth & Development Leadership Team, and Partner Solutions Leadership Team to develop, prioritize, and execute strategic initiatives and business plans.
- Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes, and lead change management activities when needed.
- Lead Partner Solutions communications efforts that build a connected team culture and align with leadership priorities.
- Act as a liaison between Partner Solutions and Product, Technology, AI & Data Analytics, Audience Solutions, and Research Publishing teams to keep priorities aligned.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor and chief of staff to the VP, anticipating business needs and identifying risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate leadership activities, customer-facing priorities, and industry engagement, including team meetings, sales kickoffs, and presentations.
- Use AI and business intelligence tools, including Power BI, to support planning, reporting, and decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2-3 years minimum experience in scholarly publishing
- Experience managing large projects with multiple stakeholders
- Concise and persuasive communication skills
- Change management experience
- Advanced Outlook and PowerPoint skills
- Advanced Excel skills and a good understanding of Power BI capabilities
- Comfortable using AI tools for data, analytics, and communication coordination
- Fluent in English
- Able to travel by plane or train as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Project management, operations, or communications experience
- Experience navigating change and contributing to positive outcomes in a professional setting
- Experience building and managing internal resource SharePoint sites or other information sites

The range below represents Wiley's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base pay for this role at the time of posting roles in the United Kingdom, Canada, USA, Austria, Czechia, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, or Spain. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall within the range, however the ultimate salary offered for this role may be higher or lower and will be set based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, skills, and competencies.
