We are looking for a Cloud (AWS, Azure) certified Engineer to lead infrastructure deployment within cloud environment. Collaborate with wider software development teams to ensure reliable application deployment and maintenance. Handle responsibilities that include supervising cloud SRE engineers, addressing infrastructure issues, and providing technical support at SRE capacity.Key Responsibilities include:
  • Management: We need to build partnership between product, development, and business oriented operations to achieve successful new product launches.
  • Design and Development: Maintain organization’s cloud infrastructure, deploying automation along with risk management.
  • Partnership and Support: Work with developers and follow accurate code releases and improve overall system reliability and scalability. Remember, this role involves handling AWS and Azure DevOps tools and services, ensuring smooth code integration, and automating processes to implement the standard methodologies.
  • Continuous Integration and Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software builds, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Using tools like Terraform or ARM templates to define and run infrastructure resources. IaC allows you to treat infrastructure configuration like code, making it easier to maintain and reproduce.
  • Monitoring and Solving: Setting up monitoring solutions (such as Azure Monitor or Application Insights) to supervise system performance, detect issues, and proactively address them.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensuring that security standard methodologies are followed, running access controls, and staying aligned with industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Collaboration with Development Teams: Working closely with software developers to understand their requirements, provide mentorship on DevOps practices, and assist in resolving deployment-related issues
Additional Responsibilities
  • Supervising Site Reliability Engineers to ensure improved LSEG’s services.
  • Leading by example, mentoring a team and establishing credibility through quality technical execution.
  • Understanding the tech strategy and culture.
  • Implementing new / improved site reliability processes and standard methodologies.
  • Running end-to-end availability and performance of key services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence.
  • Ensuring the site reliability community has the technical skills required to deliver against long-term plans.
  • Maintain project budget targets.
