The Senior Manager, Marketing - Media, Influencer, Sports Partnerships will manage the strategy, identification, development and execution of partnerships and marketing plans across a sector of sports, entertainment and lifestyle including (but not limited to) professional athletes and teams in NBA, NFL, MLB and collegiate sports, and influencers, and Paid Media sources. This role leads ongoing alliances, manages relationships, and helps leverage and activate partners and properties across the Advanced Hydration marketing mix.  
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Key collaborator responsible for identifying, gaining internal consensus, and developing sports and entertainment initiatives to support the portfolio of brands across the marketing mix including but not limited to national campaigns, experiential activation, digital & social media, sales programs, incentives and more.
  • Responsible for the development and execution of creative and content that generates compelling activation plans to drive consumer, retailer, and distributor excitement
  • Responsible for complex negotiations focused on optimal deal points and terms between key internal and external senior level stakeholders. 
    • External industry partner communications require specific understanding of the sports and entertainment industry, players, market rates and precedent.  Creative problem solving and relationship management skills are paramount to successfully achieving positive ROI.
  • Leverage Team BODYARMOR and POWERADE athlete partners (30+) and sports properties (6+ national properties, 30 clubs) to activate brand experiences and programs that drive awareness, sales, brand health and consumer purchase. 
  • Day-to-day management of agency partner supporting initiatives within the NIL space, ensuring the Advanced Hydration portfolio remains within compliance across state laws and is maximizing opportunities with NIL
  • Responsible for the preparation and organization of production shoots featuring athletes
  • Day-to-day management of team athletes and team/league partnerships; working with agencies/agents to maximize partnerships on behalf of brand
    • Grow and maintain partner relationships
    • Contractual obligations and documentation
    • Working closely with internal cross-functional sales and marketing departments so athlete services meet brand/organization needs
    • Leverage and manage marquee sporting events
    • Collaborate on production process for national campaigns on behalf of partners
    • Management of asset inventory and prioritization
  • Responsible for the delivery of over 300+ service hours, appearances, social media requirements, press and more to benefit brands, bottlers, and customers.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA required; Advanced degree (MA/MBA) preferred
  • 6 Years relevant Partnerships experience with Media required
  • Residence within 50 miles of ATL area required
  • Ability to support very granular administrative tasks required
  • Excellent collaborator with strong interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to handle celebrity level requests and work that could involve administrative functions required
  • Subject matter expert with industry knowledge, experience, and extensive network of relationships across the business.
  • 20% travel required

United States of America: $139,600 - $157,900

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
