The Role
The purpose of the Sr. Manager, Solution Partnerships role is to drive the recruitment, growth, and long-term success of solution partners. This involves working closely with the Senior Director, Solution Partnerships, and advancing the Calix Partner Community by forging high-impact relationships that deliver measurable value to Calix and its partners.

This is a remote position based anywhere in the United States. 

Calix is seeking a Sr. Manager, Solution Partnerships to join the Calix Partner Team. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate leader to join our team at an exciting growth stage. 

The Sr. Manager, Solution Partnerships will play a pivotal role in advancing the Calix Partner Community, working closely with the Senior Director, Solution Partnerships to drive the recruitment, growth, and long-term success of strategic partnerships across the U.S. and globally. This role will also be responsible for working with partners to co-develop and bring to market commercially relevant joint solutions that align with Calix’s strategic objectives and deliver tangible value to customers.  

This leader will be at the forefront of a dynamic and expanding ecosystem, forging high-impact relationships that deliver measurable value to Calix and its partners. Responsibilities:

  • Establish and cultivate strategic, high-impact relationships with external partners that are essential to advancing our industry leadership and achieving long-term growth objectives. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of each partner’s unique value proposition, market dynamics, business challenges, and customer opportunities.  
  • Clearly and proactively communicate the purpose, progress, and impact of external partners to key internal stakeholders across Calix.  
  • Keep partners informed of the latest Calix developments to ensure alignment and shared momentum.  
  • Build and sustain strong, multi-level relationships with partner organizations, including executive leadership.   
  • Partner with Calix sales teams and key partner representatives to cultivate relationships that accelerate revenue growth.  
  • Identify risks and roadblocks early and lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts with product leadership, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.  
  • Serve as a passionate internal advocate for partner solutions that enhance the Calix platform and ecosystem.  
  • Create and execute strategic partner account plans that chart a clear path to mutual success within the Calix ecosystem.  
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and showcase the success and impact of each partnership.  
  • Deliver comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure new partners are set up for success from day one.  
  • Drive technical alignment between partner offerings and the Calix platform to ensure seamless integration and joint value creation.  
  • Support the development and execution of joint solutions, including integration efforts that enhance the Calix ecosystem.  
  • Collaborate with partner marketing to drive joint go to market plans that drive mutual business objectives and market expansion.  
  • Facilitate partner participation in flagship Calix events, such as ConneXions, to strengthen collaboration and showcase joint success. 

 

Qualifications 

  • You have prior experience in a similar role in the SaaS industry and a strong track record of success in building partnerships. 
  • You have experience working with senior stakeholders to find win-win solutions. 
  • You are highly goal oriented, assertive, and a hands-on, problem solver. 
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • You demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization. 
  • You have excellent organizational and time management skills. 
  • Proven influencer with ability to identify and drive new opportunities. 
  • Strategically agile self-starter who can work independently and in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. 
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems. 
  • Ability to effectively work in a highly ambiguous environment.
  • Cultural fit within the Calix team, team player, comfortable with ambiguity and results oriented. 
  • Ability to effectively communicate big picture strategy, while acting tactically to implement defined strategies, and concurrently recognize a need to pivot to a better process.

Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education.

San Francisco Bay Area Only:

184,000.00 - 276,000.00 USD Annual

National Major Cities plus, CA, CO, NY Metro area:

160,000.00 - 240,000.00 USD Annual

Regional plus NY:

144,000.00 - 216,000.00 USD Annual
