Job Summary

Kaseya is seeking a Senior Manager of Software Engineering to lead engineering execution for complex enterprise software platforms. This role is responsible for managing software engineering teams, supporting technical strategy, improving delivery processes, and ensuring successful execution of product roadmap initiatives. The ideal candidate is an experienced engineering manager with a strong software development background, solid SaaS and distributed systems knowledge, and a proven ability to lead teams that deliver secure, scalable, and reliable software.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage teams of software engineers and technical leads responsible for delivering enterprise software products and platform capabilities.
  • Support the architecture, design, and delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing software across cloud-hosted, data center-hosted, and hybrid environments.
  • Partner with senior engineering leadership, product management, and cross-functional stakeholders to execute product roadmaps, technical requirements, delivery schedules, and engineering priorities.
  • Drive engineering process improvements across agile delivery, quality practices, DevOps, CI/CD, test automation, deployment automation, and operational readiness.
  • Mentor and develop engineers and technical leads, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, urgency, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
  • Collaborate with QA, UX/UI, operations, support, sales, marketing, HR, Talent, and other teams to support successful delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, and technical planning to ensure solutions meet standards for security, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, technical trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to engineering leadership and business stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6+ years of software engineering experience, including experience with SaaS platforms, distributed systems, cloud-based services, or similar complex software environments.
  • 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams, including coaching, mentoring, performance management, and delivery accountability.
  • Hands-on experience with modern software development practices, including agile methodologies, DevOps, continuous integration, automated testing, and deployment automation.
  • Strong technical foundation with experience supporting architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, application security, scalability, reliability, and operational quality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience delivering enterprise SaaS products, platform services, business applications, or other large-scale commercial software solutions.
  • Experience with technologies such as Java, C#, .NET, MySQL, SQL, AWS, and enterprise-scale SaaS platforms.
  • Familiarity with multiple architecture patterns, including cloud-hosted platforms, N-tier systems, MVC, client-server architectures, and distributed systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate product priorities into engineering execution plans and guide teams through successful delivery.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering with product, QA, UX/UI, operations, support, sales, marketing, and business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop engineering talent, support hiring efforts, and build strong team culture in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, prioritization, decision-making, and execution skills, with the ability to balance technical quality, delivery commitments, and business needs.
