Cribl is looking for a results-oriented SEO, Answer Engine optimization (LLM - ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude) & GenAI content creation Specialist to help us drive discoverability, relevance, and engagement across our web ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of content, analytics, and emerging AI technologies—balancing deep technical SEO expertise with modern optimization tactics for AI-forward search experiences.
The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in enterprise SEO, understands how to make content shine in traditional search as well as AI environments (AEO), and is analytically inclined—using data to inform strategy, measure performance, and identify opportunity areas. They’ll work cross-functionally with content, web, product marketing, and demand teams to ensure we’re capturing and converting the right traffic while staying ahead of the curve in AI-influenced discovery.
As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will…
- Own, document, and communicate the SEO and AI optimization strategy across Cribl.io and related properties to increase both visibility, and qualified organic traffic and conversions—developing a data-driven, cross-functional roadmap with clear objectives, measurable key results, and alignment to broader business goals
- Strategize and implement scalable strategies for AI-powered search optimization (AEO), including schema markup, structured content, backlink and social/community strategies to drive mentions and citations (working via corporate and partner marketing)
- Plan for the integration of paid presence to support visibility & traffic (working with demand marketing to execute)
- Instrument, analyze, and act on web data to identify growth opportunities and performance gaps, across share of voice, traffic sources, keywords, page performance, and user behavior—ensuring accurate tracking, actionable insights, and a robust reporting framework to inform optimization and experimentation strategies.
- Conduct regular technical audits to identify and resolve issues related to crawlability, indexation, site architecture, canonicalization, structured data, and Core Web Vitals—working closely with web developers to implement scalable fixes that improve site health and search performance.
- Partner closely with internal content teams, agencies, and developers to define and implement SEO best practices into page builds, content planning, and product launches
- Champion generative AI content creation across various models, including internal AI, for web publishing and beyond
- Be at the front of search algorithm changes, GenAI integrations (e.g., Google SGE, Perplexity, ChatGPT plugins), and competitor strategies
- We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones – you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours
If You’ve Got It - We Want It
- 8+ years of experience in technical and on-page SEO, preferably for enterprise B2B or SaaS brands
- Ability to think strategically and communicate value-based, data-backed SEO and AI optimization plans, translating insights into clear roadmaps and measurable outcomes
- Insatiable curiosity and passion for the evolving search landscape, including AI and natural language interfaces - with demonstrable early learnings in optimizing for ChatGPT etc
- Deep analytical skills with ability to turn data into clear insights and actions
- Strong understanding of search engine mechanics and generative AI integrations, including structured data and LLM-optimized markup
- Demonstrated success in increasing qualified organic traffic and conversion through SEO and AEO strategies
- Proficiency with tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4, Looker Studio, and Tag Manager
- Strong collaboration and project management skills in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and quality
Salary Range ($94,400 - $147,000)
The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Cribl also offers a generous benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), equity, and eligibility for a discretionary company-wide bonus.
