We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Manager to lead and scale our Salesforce platform and the team that supports it. This is a critical leadership position created to own the full lifecycle of our Salesforce ecosystem, from day-to-day operations and team delivery to long-term platform strategy and executive stakeholder management. The ideal candidate is a hands-on techno-functional leader who can think architecturally, communicate fluently with business leaders, and inspire a small but high-impact team to deliver at a high standard.

What You'll Do:

Team Leadership & People Management

  • Directly manage a team of 6-7 Salesforce professionals including admins, developers, and scrum master.

  • Set clear goals, provide coaching and career development, and foster a high-performance team culture.

  • Oversee workload planning, sprint ceremonies, and delivery cadence across all Salesforce projects.

  • Lead onboarding, hiring, and team-building as the function scales.

Platform Architecture & Strategy

  • Own the Salesforce platform architecture, design scalable, maintainable solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and CPQ/CLM.

  • Drive platform roadmap planning in alignment with business priorities across Sales Ops, RevOps, Finance, and Product teams.

  • Lead architecture reviews, enforce governance, and champion best practices in code quality, security, and data integrity.

  • Evaluate and recommend new Salesforce features, releases, and third-party integrations as business needs evolve.

Technical Leadership

  • Provide hands-on technical guidance on Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Flow Builder, and REST/SOAP APIs.

  • Conduct and oversee code reviews to ensure quality, maintainability, and adherence to Salesforce development standards.

  • Design and own integration architecture between Salesforce and external systems (ERP, billing, marketing, analytics).

  • Lead data migration, deployment, and release management processes.

Stakeholder & Business Collaboration

  • Partner closely with senior stakeholders (VPs, C-level) to translate business requirements into effective Salesforce solutions.

  • Gather and manage requirements across cross-functional teams; lead SIT/UAT phases and drive user adoption.

  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for Salesforce platform issues, ensuring SLA adherence and operational excellence.

  • Prepare and communicate delivery status, risks, and roadmap updates to leadership.

Delivery & Operations

  • Lead Agile/Scrum execution - sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and continuous delivery.

  • Manage end-to-end SDLC for Salesforce projects, from requirements gathering through deployment and hypercare.

  • Establish and maintain documentation standards, runbooks, and operational SOPs.

What You Bring:

Must-Have

  • 8+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 2 years in a people management or team lead role.

  • Deep expertise in Sales Cloud and at least one of: Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Salesforce CPQ.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional Salesforce teams (admins, developers, QA) end-to-end.

  • Strong technical proficiency in Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flow Builder, and Salesforce APIs.

  • Demonstrated experience managing stakeholder relationships at senior/executive level.

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (or equivalent), with additional certifications preferred.

  • Experience running Agile/Scrum delivery within a Salesforce context.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills in English.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, or similar).

  • Background in SaaS, technology, or high-growth company environments.

  • Familiarity with analytics tools such as Salesforce Reports & Dashboards, ThoughtSpot, or Tableau.

  • Experience working with international or distributed teams.

Spotters are expected to demonstrate AI literacy and workflow integration to include to ability to:

  • Comfortably and confidently integrate artificial intelligence into their daily workflow to increase productivity and quality.

  • Hands-on experience to leverage AI tools (industry-leading LLMs) to increase productivity, automate routine tasks, and improve work quality.

  • Speak to the experience of using AI for research, content creation, and document summarization while maintaining ownership of judgment and final decisions.

  • Write effective prompts to get the most accurate and creative results from AI tools.

Spotters are expected to exemplify these key traits and AI Mindset:

  • Curiosity in exploring new AI tools

  • Adaptability to quickly learn and implement new, emerging AI technologies

  • Critical thinking to know when to identify when AI should be used versus when human judgement is necessary

Hybrid Work at ThoughtSpot

This office-assigned role is available as a hybrid position, reporting to the office in India - Distributed.

Spotters assigned to an office are encouraged to experience the energy of their local office with an in-office expectation of 2-3 days per week. This approach balances the benefits of in-person collaboration and peer learning with the flexibility needed by individuals and teams.
