Job Description
The S&OP Manager is the strategic broker that aligns our commercial ambitions with our operational capabilities. Your mission is to lead a monthly collaborative decision-making process that synchronizes sales forecasts, financial goals, and inventory targets into a single, unified execution plan. You will bridge the gap between "what we want to sell" and "what we can deliver," ensuring Motorola Solutions remains agile in a dynamic global market.
Key Responsibilities
Orchestrate the S&OP Cycle: Lead the monthly S&OP process, facilitating cross-functional alignment meetings between Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Product teams to reach a consensus demand plan.
Drive Forecast Accuracy: Develop and implement advanced forecasting processes to achieve best-in-class accuracy, minimizing supply chain "gyrations" and improving stability.
Inventory & Financial Optimization: Partner with Supply, Demand, & Inventory Planning teams to hit inventory targets and mitigate Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) risks, directly impacting the company’s bottom line.
Strategic Roadmap Execution: Manage a 24-month planning horizon, ensuring that long-term strategic goals are translated into actionable operational tasks.
Continuous Improvement: Architect and execute a multi-year roadmap to transition the S&OP process, connecting different business units and improving process maturity.
Global Collaboration: Coordinate with regional demand and supply teams to adopt global best practices while maintaining the flexibility needed for local market nuances.

Strong written and verbal communication skills including effective use of presentations.
Ability to summarize complex topics into simple and relevant factors for leadership.
Analytical acumen; obtain, organize, and draw insights from multiple data sources.
Experience driving cross-functional alignment through S&OP or consensus planning processes.
Oracle or other ERP/APS software experience and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required.
2+ years of people management experience and/or other people leadership experience preferred.
Target Base Salary Range: $112,300 - $186,300
