Job Description
We are seeking a driven and strategic leader to spearhead our operations strategy and sales enablement functions. As a key member of the Jobstreet Malaysia country team, the Senior Manager, Sales Enablement and Operations Strategy will help craft the strategic direction for the commercial organisation, whilst simultaneously empowering our commercial team to achieve exceptional results. You will be instrumental in identifying, capitalizing on new marketing opportunities, shaping the future of sales, and driving significant revenue growth.
This position will be based in KL. It carries a high level of responsibility and influence, and requires the ability to effectively lead (directly and indirectly) a team of 9 business intelligence and operations executives, and also coordination and working with regional collaborators.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the Singapore country monthly business review (MBR) process with top management. This involves curating a data-driven narrative that showcases the sales organization's performance against strategic goals, identifies key trends and opportunities, and aligns with the broader company vision.
- Thought leader/partner to support head of departments and lead strategic projects within country as and when needed. This includes conducting market analysis, identifying key growth areas, reviewing sales organisation structures and focus.
- Own and optimize sales funnel and processes. In particular, this requires close tracking of lead generation and assignment metrics, and periodically reviewing processes both internally and also with functions such as marketing and acquisition sales teams
- Translate complex sales data into actionable insights. Leverage analytical expertise to translate complex sales data into clear concise, impactful recommendations and presentations for management, to ensure decision making is grounded in robust data analysis. Track metrics to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in sales and/or strategy, or 3+ years in management consulting, with a proven track record of success in leading sales teams or developing strategic initiatives.
- Strong understanding of sales methodologies, market analysis techniques, and strategic planning frameworks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel to Singapore (20%)
Other Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Experience with sales technology and tools (CRM, sales automation, etc.) a plus.
- People or team leadership experience good to have
