Job DescriptionSponsorship Acquisition & Revenue Growth
- Develop and execute a strategic sponsorship sales plan to drive revenue and expand WRC’s commercial partnerships.
- Identify, engage, and secure high-value sponsorships with global and regional brands, leveraging WRC’s position in motorsport and entertainment.
- Own the full deal cycle — from prospecting through negotiation and contract closure, ensuring alignment with WRC’s commercial goals and brand positioning.
- Align closely with Marketing, Media and Event department to develop innovative partnership proposals and activation opportunities.
Partner Management & Cross-Team Collaboration
- Manage key sponsor relationships to ensure long-term retention, growth, and satisfaction.
- Work cross-functionally withing the entire organisation to deliver seamless partnership execution and activation.
- Collaborate with Marketing to leverage market insights, competitor analysis, and audience engagement metrics to refine sponsorship strategies.
- Represent WRC at industry conferences, trade fairs, and networking events, positioning the brand as a premier sponsorship opportunity.
Performance Tracking & Commercial Strategy
- Establish and monitor sponsorship performance KPIs, ensuring revenue growth targets are met and exceeded.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis, identifying new sponsorship opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Provide regular reports to senior leadership on sponsorship revenue, market dynamics, and partnership success rates.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in sponsorship sales or business development, ideally within sports, entertainment, or media industries.
- Proven ability to secure high-value sponsorships, negotiate complex deals, and drive commercial success.
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills with industry leaders and decision-makers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage).
- In-depth knowledge of sponsorship activation, brand partnerships, commercial integrations and sponsorship analytics.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple high-profile sponsorship deals simultaneously.
