Genesys is significantly transforming finance and accounting operations to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness. We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead the organization in this journey.

The Senior Manager, Revenue Systems Transformation, will oversee the transformation of revenue accounting systems, automation of revenue processes, and ensuring alignment with technical policy and operational strategy. This role requires a deep understanding of revenue recognition principles, accounting systems implementation/integration, project management, and change management. The ideal candidate will be confident in engaging with technology partners and other counterparts to enhance the overall effectiveness of the revenue accounting systems.

Competencies & Key Responsibilities:

Leadership

  • Lead implementation of new revenue accounting systems/sub-systems and derive the best fit within the overall systems landscape (Zuora Revenue (RevPro), Zuora Billing, Salesforce, Workday, and Klarity).

  • Lead initiatives to resolve existing system/process issues.

  • Implement a systems assurance and risk management approach towards new and existing infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders for implementation of organizational goals and targets.

  • Manage the performance and development of a small Team.

Technology and Automation

  • Zuora systems expertise, manage System Upgrades, rationalize day-to-day user queries, and resolve system issues on an ad-hoc basis.

  • Contribute towards the adoption of Workday as the ERP system and overall alignment with revenue systems and processes.

  • Demonstrate understanding of the Klarity tool and other AI-enabled tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Recommend new systems or enhancements to existing systems & support user adoption.

  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions to automate revenue accounting processes.

Continuous Improvement

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive program for system and process improvements.

  • Collaborate with vendors and technology teams on System Upgrades and unlocking new features.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system effectiveness.

Project Management

  • Manage and report on the status and progress of system implementation and upgrade runs.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Accounting, and Order Management

  • Monitor project performance and report on progress/ escalate issues to senior stakeholders.

Change Management

  • Develop and implement change management plans to facilitate the adoption of new processes and systems.

  • Provide training and support to accounting teams.

Month-end support & Ad-hoc projects

  • Work closely with the US-based accounting teams to support Zuora system behavior queries/troubleshooting during US working hours.

  • Engage with IT and/or India based Data team for issue resolution on an ad-hoc basis.

  • Oversee integration checks between Zuora Revenue and ERP to ensure accurate and complete GL impact.

  • Facilitate and contribute towards Special Projects as and when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant area of expertise

  • CPA, MBA or equivalent (desirable)

  • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant work experience with preferably a few years at a Big 4 or similar Consulting Firm or Large Public Co.

  • Good understanding of ASC 606 principles

  • Zuora Revenue/RevPro Implementation experience in a techno-functional capacity (essential)

  • Zuora Billing Implementation experience (essential)

  • ERP implementation experience- preferably Workday (desirable)

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce (essential)

  • Thorough working knowledge of Tableau Prep or similar ETL instruments (essential)

  • Experience in deploying AI-driven instruments (desirable)

  • Other Finance Transformation Experience such as SSC set-up & close timeline rationalization (desirable)

  • SaaS/tech experience (desirable)

  • Experience of working with international teams and reporting to a remote manager

  • Deep analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Excellent multi-tasking skills and flexibility to switch from one project to the next

  • Highly collaborative with the ability to effectively manage cross-functional projects

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$109,550.00 - $214,950.00
