Job Title: Revenue Operations Manager
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Remote
Position Overview: The Revenue Operations Manager will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and efficiency across the company’s revenue-generating teams. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), this position will provide strategic support to Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders, ensuring alignment and optimization of processes, analytics, software systems, go-to-market strategy, and overall commercial operations.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong operational mindset and a proven ability to enable revenue growth through data-driven insights, streamlined systems, and collaborative cross-functional execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analytics & Reporting
- Develop and maintain revenue-focused reporting dashboards to measure performance across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.
- Analyze pipeline trends, revenue forecasts, customer retention, and other critical KPIs to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Deliver actionable insights to leadership that inform strategic decision-making.
- Systems Management & Optimization
- Manage and optimize revenue technology stack (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, customer success platforms) to improve efficiency and drive business objectives.
- Collaborate with IT and external vendors to ensure seamless integration and functionality of revenue-related tools and platforms.
- Train and enable revenue teams to leverage systems effectively.
- Go-To-Market Strategy
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders to align on go-to-market strategies, including lead generation, territory management, and customer segmentation.
- Drive process standardization, ensuring alignment across all revenue channels.
- Support planning and execution of initiatives to accelerate growth and revenue attainment.
- Sales & Commercial Operations
- Support sales operations, including pipeline management, sales performance analysis, quota setting, and compensation plan design.
- Assist in improving sales productivity by identifying and addressing bottlenecks in the sales process.
- Ensure customer data integrity and implement processes that enhance customer lifecycle management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success leadership teams.
- Act as a bridge between revenue teams and finance, ensuring alignment on revenue targets, forecasts, and operational execution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to continuously improve processes and align team efforts to organizational goals.
Salary:
Salary Range: $140,000 - $150,000
This salary range represents BetterCloud’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and BetterCloud may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in BetterCloud’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of BetterCloud’s business and other operational considerations.
