EnergyHub is seeking a Senior Manager of Revenue Operations to manage the establishment and scaling-up of our unified GTM engine. This role will own project work and continuous efficiencies in our cloud-based subscription billing platform and to establish operational workflows throughout our Sales and Customer Success functions.  This is an opportunity to step in as an experienced individual contributor and make an immediate impact by pioneering automation and process improvement, while advancing EnergyHub’s mission.     

Main Responsibilities

Our RevOps team will be responsible for providing decision-quality data to all parts of the business, and in this role, you’ll play a critical part in that effort

  • Gather, consolidate, and analyze data from Salesforce.com and other applications in our tech stack to help leaders from Marketing, Sales and Customer Success develop a shared and continuously up-to-date understanding of our progress toward strategic goals, including forecast budget attainment and revenue retention
    • Create dashboards and enhance existing ones to improve user experience, increase adoption, and provide reliable insights into the state of Marketing, Sales and Customer Success
    • Report regularly on bookings, retention, and performance of KPIs across Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success
    • Collaborate with sales leadership to develop and continuously refine revenue forecasts and projections
    • Responsible for overall data integrity of salesforce
  • Administer, optimize, and serve as the subject matter expert for the company’s revenue technology stack, including maintaining thorough documentation of system configurations, processes, and best practices
    • Immediately help EnergyHub and its 3rd party consultants to implement BilllingPlatform.com as the company’s cloud-based biller and revenue data engine
    • Develop a deep understanding of how all applications in our RevOps tech stack interact with each other and influence data quality across the systems
  • Perform some assigned month end accounting and reporting operations activities
  • Analyze signed contracts for completeness, accuracy, and compliance to company controls and revenue recognition guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Key Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7 years plus of experience in sales/business operations.SaaS – Demonstrated leadership experience within cloud-native businesses, and a proven track record of working with recurring revenue models
  • Proven experience leading transformation, business process improvement, business process management or process operations on a medium to large scale.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to collaborate effectively in a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with leveraging technology (including Salesforce.com) to positively impact business performance is desired
  • Experience with a cloud-based subscription billing service such as BillingPlatform, Zuora, Stripe, ChargeBee, Maxio, or NetSuite (BillingPlatform is preferred)
  • You are curious and tenacious: asking questions and seeking answers is part of who you are and using your creative skills to create transformative change in an organization excites and motivates you
  • Deep experience with business intelligence platforms and revenue data models

We use a tool to determine fair pay ranges. We start with a base salary and adjust it based on where you live and your experience level. For example, in Brooklyn, the total cash compensation range for this job is between $145,000 - $165,000. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
