Purpose of Role

As a part of the Advisory, Consulting Solutions team in Knowledge Services function of MMGS, the candidate will support our colleagues in the Marsh Advisory Europe region, with data management, program management and process improvement for Strategic Risk Consulting areas including ESG, Resilience, and Risk Management among others.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Service

• Create a repeatable process to integrate/load source data catalogs into the enterprise data catalog
• Develop digital strategies to develop tools and process for maintaining meaningful data
• Identify the metadata required from different sources to create repositories
• Able to utilize data and support teams on conducting market research, creating industry tailored pitch decks and develop commercial documents
• Maintain governance of various data types across teams -Credentials, team structure and CVs, Wins, Sanitized documents for clients, and maintain project data which can be used at different sources
• Other key activities include data governance, digital strategy development support, pre-sales (content development) activities and team governance activities, and advance products development.
• Work with source data owners to create and get agreement on change management processes, including notifications and escalations
• Create an audit process to reconcile sources to the enterprise data
• Work with legal/compliance partners to collect, analyze and inventory data protection policies
• Work with Global records management to collect, analyze and inventory data retention schedules
• Create and document processes to upload in the governance tool, including change management, approvals, notifications and escalation paths
• Work with legal/compliance partners to define scope and criteria to enable mapping of policies to data assets
• Create a process for data owners to view and validate data assets
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders through delivering high-quality projects, being responsive and adaptable, and maintaining clear and effective communication. Collaborate with stakeholders to solve problems and improve client outcomes
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes by providing relevant recommendations and implementing process initiatives to enhance efficiency and the overall quality of project delivery
• Uses facilitative and diagnostic skills to assist teams in the articulation of complex problems
• Able to work with and manage multiple stakeholders 

What you need to have: 

• Masters / Bachelors in Economics or Masters in Business Administration (MBA) / equivalent post-graduation certification in Business Administration from a reputed institute
• 6 to 9 years of experience in strategy consulting, research (quantitative and qualitative | secondary and primary) experience, at a leading professional services / consulting firm e.g. Big 4, public policy set-ups, financial service captives, or leading market intelligence / research firms
• Experience of data management, building repositories and tools for meta data storage
• Exposure in delivering consulting assignment, building frameworks, drawing data driven insights and performing statistical analysis aligned to the ‘Sales Strategy’ focusing on clients pitching activities
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem solving, storyboarding and report writing skill
• Excellent communication skills – verbal, writing, listening
• Advanced level of proficiency in MS Office, with strong skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel (including Macros, VBA), Access and SharePoint
• Extensive exposure of commercial databases such as: Cap IQ, Bloomberg, Market Intelligence Factiva, S&P databases, A.M Best Insurance service
• Experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Excel/ Power BI-driven dashboards
• Ability to support teams on creating pitch decks and support on RFP process

• Familiarity with core statistical concepts e.g., correlation, regressions, significance values, etc.
• Knowhow of programming languages like Python or R and visualisation tools like Power BI will be a plus

• Strong exposure of presenting to senior executive management
• Understating of insurance and risk management
