The Senior Manager, Resale Program will lead the sales strategy and execution of Arc’teryx’ resale program, under ReBIRD, to drive an ideal Guest experience in our channels, while enabling profitability, efficiency, scale and Brand impact. In this role, you will be accountable for developing and delivering sales targets, creating strategies that align with our sustainability goals, and fostering strong cross-functional partnerships. Your leadership will ensure our Brand meets its ambitious circular goals in a responsible way.

If you were in the Senior Manager, Resale Program role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Developing and implementing a robust cross-channel sales strategy which incorporates Retail, Ecommerce, and Brand events, for our trade-in and resale services, in alignment with the company’s long-term sustainability goals
  • Driving an ideal end-to-end experience within trade-in and resale that delivers a deeper connection to our Brand and reflects our values in sustainability and quality
  • Leading, inspiring, and developing your team as well as acting as a mentor to others in the department, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, engagement, and accountability
  • Overseeing the P&L, maintaining a focus on achieving revenue targets, managing costs, and delivering profitability in line with overall business goals
  • Setting, monitoring, and achieving weekly sales targets in ecommerce and retail, ensuring they align with growth objectives
  • Reporting on sales performance across all channels
  • Partnering closely with regional vendor partners (technology and operations) to support the business and enable efficiency and scale, while meeting our sustainability standards
  • Overseeing inventory positions across all regions, channels and warehouses, adjusting allocations to meet sales targets
  • Providing data-driven insights to the leadership team on sales trends, opportunities, and potential risks
  • Collaborating closely cross-functionally with Product, Supply Chain teams to optimize our inventory allocation, pricing strategy, in line with our main business

  • Enabling future circular business models for Arc’teryx as part of our Circular initiatives
  • Overseeing partner negotiations in new markets (technology and repair operations)
  • Fostering strong relationships with vendors and channel partners, enabling scale, efficiency, and shared growth
  • Partnering with Brand Marketing and Channel Marketing teams to develop and execute joint strategies that drive revenue, increase customer engagement, and reinforce brand values
  • Working closely with the product, merchandising, and finance teams to align on product launches, promotional strategies, and pricing strategy

Are you our next Senior Manager, Resale Program?

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in Business, Ecommerce, or a related field
  • You have 8+ years’ experience working within a vertical Retail environment in (preferably apparel), preferably with a focus on operations, sales, or account management
  • You have a strong understanding of circularity programs, and premium outdoor, fashion and lifestyle industries and you understand the retail landscape, including the latest trends and innovations
  • You have 3+ years of experience leading a team
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills, especially across senior leadership
  • You have strong attention to detail
  • You have strong leadership capabilities with experience building high-performing teams
  • You are an expert in spotting scalable improvement opportunities translating to business performance growth
  • You inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • You have experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment
  • You have experience with, or as a technician, for apparel or gear
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You have strong computer skills (especially Microsoft Suite)
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
  • You are able to travel (domestically and internationally) as required
