Job Summary:
Raytheon is looking for a Senior Requirements & Capabilities Manager for Raytheon’s wholly owned foreign subsidiary located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This role will support the company’s growth objectives by helping strengthen solutions, operational performance, and customer relationships within the UAE market.
The position will support global growth initiatives across Raytheon by coordinating effective and practical solutions aligned with key mission areas. The Senior Requirements & Capabilities Manager will work closely with RTX mission areas and functional teams to support the strategy and business objectives of Raytheon Emirates Limited (REL).
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Act as the primary liaison and trusted advisor to the UAE Air Force, representing RAY at senior levels including Air Force leadership and MOD
- Build strong customer relationships and align UAE AF operational needs with RAY capabilities
- Lead engagement with UAE AF, U.S. Embassy, and internal SBUs as the voice of the customer
- Develop and support marketing strategies, engagement plans, and growth opportunities
- Coordinate across SBUs and functions to deliver integrated, cost-effective solutions
- Serve as the main POC for customer issues, ensuring timely resolution and strong communication
- Drive collaboration across the enterprise to enhance performance, execution, and pipeline growth
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree relevant functional discipline (business, engineering) or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years experience in Business Development of Defense Sales, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
- Good understanding of the regional defense industrial base, geopolitical environment, and local cultural customs and norms.
- Ability to leverage customer knowledge and market insights to support identification of growth opportunities in the UAE.
- Supports the development and execution of strategies related to business growth, program management, and product lines.
- Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to support integrated solutions and cross-functional business initiatives.
- Working knowledge of international business practices and compliance requirements, including FCPA and ITAR, as well as familiarity with international contracts such as FMS and DCS and host country regulations.
- Fluent in Arabic, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
