Location: Preferably Dublin. Any other EU-based location will require frequent travel to Dublin.

Position Summary:

The Senior Manager for Regional Supply Chain Operations will lead Bio-Techne’s regional operations and logistics, combining operational oversight of the Dublin Distribution Centre with long-term potential for multi-site operations across EMEA. The position will consolidate logistics networks, integrate new suppliers, and build in-region manufacturing capabilities, including kit assembly and direct shipping to global markets.

As a member of the global Strategic Supply Chain team and the EMEA Leadership team, the Senior Manager will represent operations and logistics priorities at a strategic level, bridging regional execution with global supply chain strategy, ensuring operational excellence, and driving business growth.

This role also includes full people management responsibility, coaching, developing, and motivating teams to achieve high performance, engagement, and alignment with Bio-Techne’s operational goals and EPIC values.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead Regional Operations whilst Enabling Scalability
  • This role requires a breakthrough leader who can drive continuous improvement, embed lean practices, and elevate service levels across the region.

  • Scope will integrate lead operational responsibilities for the Bio-Techne Dublin Distribution Centre with planning for multi-site expansion across EMEA.

  • Represent regional operations at the EMEA Leadership Team, influencing global strategy.

  • Consolidate operations and build in-region manufacturing capabilities, kit assembly, and direct-to-market shipping.

Be the Global Logistics Expert
  • Utilise significant experience within global supply chain to build, drive and implement strategy and scalability.

  • Able to balance the need to drive operational excellence with an entrepreneurial mindset to lead transformation and deliver results.

  • Comfortable and skilled in presenting at an executive level and working within a global matrix.

  • Track KPIs and analyze site/regional performance to support business objectives.

Transformational Leadership
  • Motivate and inspire team members and collaborators to achieve exceptional results by fostering a compelling vision, promoting personal and organizational growth, and encouraging innovation and positive change.

  • Empower teams to autonomously function, independent of day-to-day supervision.

  • In addition to site and regional teams, this person should be able to lead and align with the intercompany team and the emerging data analytics team, leveraging analytics for operational decisions.

On-Budget and On-Time Supplier & Logistics Management
  • Responsible for supplier integration, 3PL management, and service-level improvement, while optimizing cost-to-serve.

  • Manage supplier performance and develop new supplier relationships.

  • Oversee third-party logistics and satellite distribution networks, driving efficiency and compliance.

  • Support resource allocation and annual business planning to enable operational growth.

  • Drive budget management and operational efficiency across sites.

  • Ensure accurate inventory control and compliance with GMP/Dangerous Goods standards.

  • Monitor stock metrics and optimize asset availability for operational needs.

Drive a culture of Quality and Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to legislation, company policies, and quality standards (ISO, WEEE, Hazardous Goods).

  • Maintain safe working environments and promote a culture of health and safety.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
  • 8+ years of senior operations, logistics, or regional supply chain experience, ideally with multi-site or international scope.

  • Strong understanding of logistics, distribution, import/export operations, supplier management, and operational best practices.

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, develop, and performance-manage teams, building high-performing and engaged teams across sites.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and gain buy-in from internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership.

  • Experience driving operational efficiency, process improvements, and multi-site initiatives.

  • Strong organizational, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, time management, and process management.

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with multiple priorities.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems to manage operations and reporting effectively.

  • Ability to travel up to 50%; ideally based in Dublin.
