Job Title
- Manage the budget and support the outcomes of a medium‑sized team or multiple teams, including resource planning and team development.
- Contribute to mid‑ and long‑term planning by understanding the broader business environment and supporting department direction.
- Work independently with guidance available when needed, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Define and share the team’s roadmap and direction in line with department and company objectives.
- Report on team activities and support progress toward agreed goals.
- Take responsibility for team outcomes within your area.
- Develop plans and priorities that address resource needs and operational requirements.
- Suggest relevant improvements to processes, workflows, and operational models while managing budget considerations appropriately.
- Support the investigation and resolution of production issues and customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with software development, architecture, solutions, and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to help design reliable and efficient systems.
- Help assess and reduce the environmental impact of tested applications and QA activities.
- Provide the team with the tools, information, and support needed to apply the test strategy defined by QA managers and Principal QA engineers.
- Depending on team needs, contribute to activities typically handled by a QA manager or Principal QA engineer.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication to team members about company and organizational updates.
- You bring experience leading teams and supporting shared outcomes.
- You have a solid understanding of business needs and how technical and operational work connects to wider goals.
- You collaborate effectively across multi‑disciplinary teams.
- You communicate clearly and supportively with diverse groups.
- You are comfortable working independently with support available as needed.
