The Senior Manager, Proposal Management is a leadership role that supports a team of new business bid support professionals focused on driving pursuit deliverables from value proposition through contract execution. Additionally, this leader will spearhead and drive value-focused pursuit content, including maturing content management and off-the shelf bid packages that allow Nordic’s sales team to engage and respond to client requests will quality and agility. The role requires a developing a team with a consultative approach to client engagement and sales collaboration. This role operates with limited supervision in a complex environment, thriving in creating resolution and communication with leadership.Key Responsibilities
The incumbent will be responsible for the assigned team’s end-to-end support of Nordic pursuits for healthcare clients across both the Managed Services and Consulting organizations.
- Drive excellence in performance of the assigned employees.
- Support the Enterprise Intake process by providing real-time assessment of client deliverables and assigning team members to approved pursuits.
- Lead multi-disciplinary deal team supporting new business engagement.
- Lead hiring, development and maturation of new business proposal support across the enterprise, including both local and global team members.
- Lead content development and a mature content management strategy.
- Drive proposal management transformation to improve efficiency and efficacy of proposal support for healthcare bids to include both process redesign and the selection, implementation, and adoption of technologies, including AI.
Skills and Experience
- Generally, requires a bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in related field and 7+ years related experience, including 2+ years management, preferably including leading globally diverse teams.
- 3+ years of experience in proposal support and content development for new business engagements within the healthcare industry, preferably the provider segment.
- 3+ years of experience in complex strategic deals, including comprehensive RFP/RFQ responses.
- 3+ years of experience in content creation, content management and end-to-end strategic pursuit engagement.
Additional details
- Travel including overnight domestic or international trips will be required, ranging from 10%-20%.
- Other duties as assigned.
